Une fois que les ramassages du centre-ville de Boston sont terminés, commencez la route de 1,5 heure jusqu'à Newport, Rhode Island. Ensuite, partez pour une visite commentée de la ville de 1 heure dans quelques autres sites de Newport. Découvrez le complexe de l’église Sainte-Marie. Ce sanctuaire national historique est l'endroit où le président John F. Kennedy a épousé Jacqueline Bouvier le 12 septembre 1953.
Il y a la synagogue Touro, un site historique national qui est la plus vieille synagogue encore debout aux États-Unis. C'est aussi le plus ancien bâtiment abritant une synagogue juive qui subsiste en Amérique du Nord.
Allez également voir le Fort Adams, un ancien poste de l’armée américaine et l'U.S. Naval War College, école des cadres et « berceau de la pensée » pour la marine américaine.
La visite guidée de la ville se termine au Centre des visiteurs de Discover Newport pour planifier un peu de temps libre à l'aide du guide touristique mentionné précédemment.
Faites une visite audio de 90 minutes de la Maison de marbre. Ce célèbre manoir a été vu dans le film Le Grand Gatsby.
Faites une promenade le long de cette route côtière panoramique pour bénéficier de vues époustouflantes sur la mer.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Newport Small Group Tour from Boston! Two days before the trip, I received a call with detailed information about exactly where we would meet, and everything went exactly as promised. We were greeted at the designated location right on time, given our itinerary, and from there, the entire day ran like clockwork. A few days earlier, I had taken a small-group tour to Maine that I thought was great—until I took this trip with Chris! Chris was training another guide on the day of our tour, so we essentially got a two-for-one experience when it came to the tour guides. Both were fantastic! From the historic buildings in Boston to the entire drive into Rhode Island, we learned interesting facts and stories about the landmarks along the way. The trip was incredibly well organized and completely seamless. Although the tour was about 11 hours long, it never felt overwhelming or too long. The time really flew by because there was always something interesting to see or learn about. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Boston who wants to take a day trip to Newport and experience the beautiful Rhode Island mansions. Chris and the team did an outstanding job!

A day trip from Boston to Newport, RI, was amazing and ran smoothly under the guidance and expertise of our driver/guide, Chris. With the easy early hotel pickup, local informative narration and well stocked cooler and snacks (as well as frequent rest stops), he managed our busy well-timed itinerary throughout the day and got us all safely back to Boston on time. We were able to tour two Gilded Age mansions, drive thru many famous sections of the town as well as having a few hours to shop, lunch, or visit the spectacular Newport Harbor and all it has to offer. I would highly recommend this tour which does it all for you! Why drive when you can sit back and relax!? This was our third Viator tour, they’re the best!

An excellent full day tour. We saw several Masions, visited two and had a great time walking around Newport. Guide was enthisiastic and knowlegable.

glad we had time to check out downtown Newport. The mansions are gorgeous. Grateful for the stops in between Boston and Newport so we could use the restroom.

Tim was our driver and guide he was very entertaining but not obnoxious took very good care of all of us. He had water and snacks and we made a stop for anybody that needed breakfast. Highly recommended if you want to experience The breakers and the Marble house in Newport.

It was a long day but so worth it!!! Great weather! I liked the Breakers the best! Willy recommended the Red Parrot for lunch and it was wonderful!! I had a lobster roll which was delicious! Highly recommend this excursion!!!
