⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was truly one of the highlights of our entire Boston trip and easily some of the best money we spent! We took the Charles River Boat Company tour on our last day in Boston, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. We are a family of five with three teenagers who are not always easy to impress, and every single one of us loved it. Our bartender and tour guide, Noah, was EXCEPTIONAL. He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and just genuinely great at what he does. What impressed us most was that this was actually our fourth tour of Boston during our trip, and somehow Noah still managed to teach us so many new things about Boston, Cambridge, and the surrounding area. He kept all five of us interested and entertained from beginning to end. The length of the tour was perfect — long enough to see and learn a lot without ever feeling drawn out. The vessel itself was very clean and comfortable, and our captain did a fantastic job as well. It was such a relaxing, fun way to see the city from a completely different perspective. If you’re visiting Boston, do not skip this tour. Even if you’ve already done other sightseeing tours, this one is absolutely worth it. We would do it again in a heartbeat. And if you’re lucky enough to have Noah as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience! 10/10 — one of our favorite memories from Boston.
Tour guide discussed both architecture and history. A relaxing way to see both Boston and Cambridge.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We're thrilled to hear that you had a great experience with us!
It was a nice ride with extremely little narration that felt like a middle school play with many missed rehearsed lines.
Nice tour Very informative Great guide who was informative and charming Definitely worth the effort to do this tour
It was pretty short trips in the content was limited. But our guide was great and so was the person steering ship. Our kids were fairly on a good time. We learned some things too!

35 members of the Bristol Historical Society enjoyed a wonderful cruise with the Charles River Boat Company. From the booking to the meet and greet and personalized walk from the bus to the boat, the experience was flawless, professional, and wonderful. The narration was perfect: just the right balance of history and corny tour guide jokes. We are grateful for this terrific experience and look forward to making it an annual outing for our group. Special thanks to Anne-Marie!
Thank you so much for the positive review! We are so happy you enjoyed the narration on board and that Anne-Marie was such a helpful part of your experience. Hope to see you all onboard again soon!
We had a gorgeous day and excellent guides!
Thank you so much for the positive review! We hope to see you onboard again soon!
We spent a beautiful day cruising the Charles River on a comfortable vessel and viewing the sights of Boston's beautiful buildings and college institutions. The activities of the school's crew and sailing teams dotted the river as we learned about the history of this great city from our able and courteous Captain Andus and Crewmate and Bartender Noah. We actually felt like family at the completion of this 70 minute cruise. What a great way to spend an afternoon while visiting Boston.
The dock for the Charles Riverboat Company was through a park very close to the hotel where we stayed and right behind the CambridgeSide Galleria, so it was easy for us to get there, It was a lovely day, and on the water is a wonderful way to see both Boston and Cambridge (we went all the way to Harvard College). We saw the skyline of Boston, the Back Bay, MIT, crew houses of various rowing teams, the new Liberty Hotel (which used to be a jail) and we went under bridges we have only driven over. This is worth doing!
