We had a wonderful tour of the Galleria Borghese with Alessandra. She was a fabulous guide and was very knowledgeable about the history of the gallery and the collection. And also of individual artists’ styles and influence on the history of art. She also told some very entertaining stories of the provenance of certain pieces in the collection - and indeed truth was better than fiction! I highly recommend this gallery, this tour…and Alessandra. Thank you for making our visit so memorable Alessandra.

It is a must...this tour is very educational and worthwhile. Although it is usually 2 hours it feels like you walked through centuries of real historical events, facts and gossip. This is a tour that cares about its clients leaving very satisfied, partnering with a museum that knows how to curate...

You will be overloaded with famous and beautiful artworks of masters. It is technically wheelchair accessible but only if you can transfer to a small chair to use the elevator. My partner had to push me on the 2nd floor since the provided chair was basically an airport aisle chair. The bathrooms didn't appear to be wheelchair accessible as they required the elevator. You can access the whole first floor though in your chair
