Alex is so kind and the tour was fast and very interesting. The price of the tickets are a little expensive.
Was a great experience to see the Cathedral Mines as well as the surrounding areas. Alexander was our guide and he made sure we all had a wonderful experience including non Spanish speaking guests.
This experience was amazing. Our driver and guide Alexander was really nice, friendly.
Great experience and pick up..
Even though Alex doesn't speak english, he was an excellent tour guide. There is an audio tour guide for the cathedral that lets you select your language. The Salt Cathedral is a unique experience with three main parts: 1. The stations of the cross; 2. The main cathedral (where a Catholic mass was actually going on) - this is the best and most interesting part; 3. A shopping and dining area-yes, it's like an underground shopping mall. The traditional lunch at a local restaurant was delicious, the staff were very friendly and some speak english, and the live music entertainment was fun. The only downside: driving out of and back into Bogota. The traffic is always horrible. The van is not the most comfortable to ride in on bumpy roads and stop and go traffic. But the scenery is nice. And we had great company in our fellow tour members. PRO TIP: wear layers-it's warmer underground than you might think but sometimes you hit well ventilated areas and the temperature drops a few degrees.
Christian was an excellent guide for the day. Gave us very informative bits of information while on the way to the Salt Cathedral and while we were there.(
It was an excellent experience; Cristian was very kind and attentive throughout the entire tour.
The driver/tour guide was very very nice and even though he only spoke Spanish, he tried his very best to assist all customers. Only giving this a 4 stars because the cathedral itself was really really boring. It’s just LED light shining on some stone crosses. Nothing spectacular let alone costing 1250 mil pesos
I am from Guyana, the only English speaking country in South America. Cristhiam is a great guide, very patient and accommodating he made every effort to ensure that i was included amongst a group of Spanish speaking tourist, He ensure that I got my physical copies of my photos taken, he shared his knowledge of his country which shows that he is informative. I would definitely recommend.
Great tour, nice pickup service
