Nous quittons la marina de Lagos et passons par Alvor, Portimão et Carvoeiro, tout en admirant la vue sur les magnifiques plages et le littoral de l'Algarve. Nous visiterons d'abord les grottes de Carvoeiro, puis les grottes les plus célèbres au monde : l'Algar de Benagil. Ces grottes sont vraiment magnifiques, avec leurs eaux cristallines et leurs formations rocheuses d'une beauté incomparable : une expérience qui vous laissera des souvenirs inoubliables ! Notre excursion se déroule à bord d'un bateau pneumatique rigide (RIB) flambant neuf de 18 places, équipé de banquettes rembourrées qui vous garantissent un véritable confort tout au long du trajet. In *some* emails you get, it tells you to arrive 15 minutes early. You actually should arrive at the marina much earlier than this if driving as there is no parking (it’s a massive tourist area and gets full fast, so you have to park a ways away and walk). We had arrived to the marina area 20 minutes early, but spent the time trying to find somewhere to park. We go to the meeting point at 2pm on the dot and saw many people waiting around, none of which were with our tour company, so we called them. They told us they were ready 10-15 minutes earlier than the departure, so they left without us. A tour company should not be leaving early. Also, Considering it is such a busy, confusing area, you’d think that knowing they were missing 2 passengers, they’d wait even 5 minutes!! Furthermore, we were around the marina for another 2 hours re booking with a different company, and no others left their post before the scheduled time. We called Viator and they asked if we got an Email about arriving early, our email never stated this, he forwarded me the email AFTER the boat has left without us. Both Viator and the tour company refused to refund us our money. Fine, whatever, but beware that there is little to no accessibility, several tour groups for you to find yours through, and no parking, so you’d need to arrive at the marina much earlier than 15 minutes, not just the meeting point. Needless to say we would not recommend this company as there was no understanding on their part and we will never be booking with Viator again.

The tour guides were so friendly and the tour itself was beautiful. It gets cold on the water so dress accordingly and prepare to be amazed

The tour of the caves, from Benagil to Algar Seco and Carvoeiro, lasts about 45 minutes. The boat is small and can enter all the caves. One of the guides took photos of all the groups inside the Benagil cave. They gave us all life jackets, and they took special care with safety. The main drawback is that the seats are very close together, and you have to sit with one leg on each side of the divider bar. You cannot change position during the whole trip, and the posture becomes a bit uncomfortable towards the end, after a two-hour journey.

The tour was on a rib boat. Super fun ride over to the caves. It’s 35 min each way so keep that in mind. Leaves time to see several caves and areas near the main cave but it is a quick tour

The trip was so much fun! The guide was so experienced and interactive! He made it so interesting. The caves were so incredible and the view was amazing! My family really enjoyed it and the speed of the boat made it even more special! It’s was like everything I imagined!

We took the 9am tour with Hugo and Ines. This was perfect before it got extremely hot and the crowds were up. We were able to go to Begali cave and we were the only boat there with maybe 5 kayakers. Hugo and Ines were very informative on all the rock formations and gave us great tips on the best beaches and some great spots both in both Lagos and the rest of the Algarve!! 10/10 would recommend this!
