We came to the blue lagoon right from the airport after flying from us. Such a relaxing start to our trip and great way to de-stress after a flight!
Unique experience. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. We did it day of arrival which worked out perfectly and less crowded in early morning. Not too far from airport. We rented a car but I saw several transfers available
It was a good experience! Very pretty! Relaxing! Clean facility. Didn’t get to take advantage of all there was to offer. No guidance once you pass the front desk. Saw some people with robes but didn’t know how to get one. Sky Lagoon was cheaper and enjoyed the vibes more!
This is probably THE best hot spring in the world!!! Certainly the most beautiful blue water! The resort is highly organized and efficient-they thought of everything. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful!
Booking through this app was more expensive than others paid for entrance. They also had a hard time finding my booking and required getting the manager to allow me in.

It can be very busy, we chose the basic package but you can buy extras. Once in great atmosphere, very different to our earlier visit to the Secret Lagoon. I think it is down to personal preference, I enjoyed both but preferred the Secret Lagoon.

The experience was mystical, magical and amazing. It was wonderful bathing in the hot sulphur water when it was -1.5C in the air. The staff were extremely helpful, the changing rooms were spotless and 4 hours we spent there were perfect. Leave lots of conditioner in your hair whilst in the water. I even used a disposable bath hat from a hotel to protect my hair even more. It was lovely and soft after washing it before going back to our hotel. The sauna had a wonderful view over the steamy water. I bought a waterproof pouch for my telephone from Amazon before coming to Iceland and it worked perfectly in the pool.
The landscaping around the lagoon is rugged and has a lot of history to read up on. My husband was interested in the volcanic rock from the start
