Animals beautifully portrayed
Animals are portrayed in a special way. I expected to see a few more animals on display. The building was beautiful!

What a beautiful day
What a beautiful building to exhibit this exhibition in. The way it is designed and made really suits this 17th-century building, and it's also very nice that there is an audio tour. Very beautiful garden where you can have a drink at bar Vasari in nice weather. Very worthwhile to visit here!

Unique experience
Unique and fascinating - totally worth a visit. Went early and had the place to myself to walk through the exhibits twice. So many things to see and learn. Really well thought out.

Amazing. Loved every bit with the added delight of brunch in the garden on a Sunday morning . I will bring all my guests visiting Amsterdam.

Wonderful
No photo or video will ever be able to do justice to the beauty of this museum. It is worth the trip to Holland all by itself. The temporary Relics exhibition is also wonderful.

A wonderful museum. Something completely different. This is "art with taxidermied animals". I really liked the exhibits and the installations. I found it a shame that black chicken wire was stretched in front of everything. I understand that it is intended for the protection of the exhibits, but it did dampen the impression. The audio tour was not for me, as I could not set it to the exhibit in front of me, but would have had to visit the floors at the pace of the audio guide. I can also recommend the café at the end with the magnificent ceilings. The garden is also beautifully landscaped.

Thank you for the detailed review and the kind words about the exhibits! The black wire is a deliberate choice by the artists: it's meant to give visitors a shift in perspective. Instead of the animals being caged, visitors now take their place. As for the audio tour, you can tap the number of the work in front of you, so you're not tied to the tour's pace. Kid and adult friendly
Amazing experience. Super interesting and impressive, very kid friendly. Our 3 year old loved it! Great staff!

Magic! Eye-catching! Arty!
What a great museum! Asset to AMS. A must-see! A feast for the eyes. And also for the ear, the audio tour completes the visit. The accommodation and garden are, in addition, also unique.
