Definitely worth it to skip the line. But it was basically just getting us inside, we didn't do a guided tour.

I scheduled our group of three through Viator. We were to meet our guide for skip the line tickets through Crowntours 15 minutes before our timed entry at 9:15 am. A few days before I received a message stating our updated time was 8:15 am. We showed up at the ticket redemption address at 7:30 am and waited with others who were confused as well. Two very nice young women showed up and gave everyone colored stickers depending on our tour guide. One tour guide showed up but a group of about 10 of us waited as the crowd grew. Our host did not arrive so the ladies that did show up purchased our tickets and got us in. All ended well but it was frustrating and confusing.

My schedule time was changed an hour later. Once we got someone to connect with they forgot to tell us of the audio connection which took to long due to poor connection inside. We just winged it and enjoyed it.

What a wonderful tour of the Accademia Gallery in Florence !! Rafael was a great tour guide, very informative and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed it. While Michelangelo's statue of David was the highlight, we appreciated seeing his other sculptures and work. Would recommend this tour!!

AVOID making the reservation with this company. We made the reservation to enter at 10:10am because we had to be at the airport at 1:00pm. The company sent a message saying that the reservation was confirmed. A day later, the company informed that due to "organizational issues" my entrance time was "slightly change" from 10:10am to 11:15am. They didn't offer any other options, not even reimbursement, and completely ruined the experience. We could only be 30 mins max to get the buses on time to the airport. We still tried to come early and they gave us the tickets with printed time 11:15. The guy from the company told us to come at 10:45am, that people in the entrance would understand the situation, but the entrance people didn't care at all either... Crown tours didn't care about the problems they created because of their poor organization/logistics skills, didn't compensate nor provided good alternatives. I was with my mom who cannot walk fast, so we couldn't really enjoy the gallery; we had to run to collect our luggages and run to the airport to get on time. If you can book your tickets directly with the academia, do it. Do not get tickets via crown tours.
