The Colosseum is very strict about the timed entry that is stated on your ticket. The ticket we received from Viator was not the actual ticket. We received it from a 3rd party to our email. Once we found the email, we realized the time was different on our ticket than we requested. As a result of that and the confusion on the ticket, we were denied entry to this monument. When we reached out to the provider they did not help us. They also denied our request for a refund.
Self guided tour required download of an app to listen and it did not work well. Other than that it was ok
If I could give this 0 stars, I would. We booked this through Viator MONTHS in advance (not TtipAdv). 24 hours before, it gets canceled. No reason. No reschedule. Nothing. Just a “heres your money back”. According to our personal tour guide, tour companies will oversell their tickets and just cancel on you. Ridiculous and unprofessional. Thanks for nothing Viator!

We booked through Tripadvisor. Booked the entrance to colesium to be at 11am . The booking was emailed quickly but the tickets were supposed to be emailed and sent to WhatsApp 24 hours before the appointment. While in Rome we tried to contact the third party ( Roma Quest ) as the tickets were not received the evening before the appointment. No one was picking up the phone number provided by Tripadvisor . We then sent them a text on WhatsApp. They replied by sending the tickets with the entrance appointment at 1:30 pm . We tried to explain that this is not the appointment chosen by us but they were not helpful. I didn’t enjoy the visit as it was in the middle of the day rather than the morning as I requested. Only spent about half an hour in the collesium which is not what I entended .
It was quick to get in. The line was small. It was an easy process. It was worth the expense. Try it .
I had a wonderful experience on my trip just because of these friendly people. They made the whole experience quite good.
I booked this well on advance to guarantee the time of my entry ticket as we had a guide for the day. Less than 24 hours before I was told that my time was not available and would have to be rescheduled at 100 pm. After rearranging my entire day, I got my tickets and they were timed for 145 pm so we barely had time at the Colosseum. Very disappointing!
It was a really cool experience, very beautiful and so interesting. I liked that we were able to walk around on our own time but still have the audio for information. I would 100% recommend for those who want to see around but dont want to be apart of a 2 hour long group. Also!! Fahimm who gave us the tickets and information was super helpful and responded quickly to any concerns or questions I had!
Clear and concise instructions which helped us find our way to the Colosseum very easily although it was heavily crowded. Good value for money as well and an overall pleasant experience using Viator.
