This operator gets you a 17 euro ticket to the museum. The digital guide is for Venice, not for the museum. There are better and less expensive options.
We ended up purchasing the audio guide from the museum because the Travelmate app had very little info about the museum and artwork. The booking was helpful to confirm our tickets but we could have walked up and purchased the same tickets without a line. That said, the museum was great and well worth the 1.5 hrs of our visit.
Beautiful exhibits. Quiet. Beautiful courtyard.
Downloading ticket is difficult and causes problems at entry. Istanbul was excellent but the Peggy Guggenheim Museum entry with Viator was difficult.
Peggy, good night museum is one of my favorite museums in the world they must see in Venice. Great way to secure tickets to a very busy museum. Their gift shop is top-notch.
The museum is great….the tour operator, not so much. When you sign up for a museum visit and the description includes the digital audio guide, I think most people would assume that would include the museum’ s audio guide. However, for this tour operator it is a generic app for Venice with a short description of the museum. The museum staff said this is a common complaint where people arrive expecting the audio tour to be included. I e-mailed the vendor and Viator requesting a refund for the cost of the actual museum audio guide (7 euros per person), but I received no response
We apologize for the misunderstanding, but the audio guide’s description provides a detailed list of the monuments covered, which span the entire city. The audio guide is at your disposal and allows you to take a “guided” tour of the entire city.
The Guggenheim would not accept the ticket. We had to buy 4 tickets to go in. Will never use Tripadvosor again. Only book directly.
Good morning. All museums accept the official tickets we send to customers, but they do not accept vouchers, payment receipts, or other documents. Are you sure you presented the official tickets you received from us? Otherwise, as stated online, you will not be allowed to enter the museum.
Glad I saw some art. Unfortunately, not as impressive as I wished. Enjoyed the art Gallery's in the area to visit.
We enjoyed the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. An interesting collection of work. The cafe was good as well. It was interesting to find out that she is buried there with her dogs.
We booked tickets online, in advance, and thus gained priority access to the gallery without queuing. The exhibits - in the gardens, as well as the house - were well laid out, and included some superb works by major artists.
