A wonder not to be missed. If you have one day it is a must see.

I have been to amazing museums all over Europe and other continents. I was absolutely mesmerized and stunned at the most important collection. I stayed 2 times longer and went around twice. I preferred it to Pinacoteca Ambrosia Museo and the Pinacoteca Brera. I think for a private collection it was definitely on the levels of the Borge and Medici's .

Art, charm, and wonder

The Poldi Pezzoli Museum is a place of rare charm, where the elegance of a house museum makes the visit intimate and engaging. The eclectic and refined collection guides the visitor from ancient weapons to lace, from Botticelli to clocks, from porcelain to travel souvenirs, creating a lively journey between art and curiosity. Impeccable hospitality and heartfelt thanks to Mr. Paolo T., who with passion and sensitivity shared anecdotes that made the visit even more vibrant and memorable. Thank you!

A gem in the heart of Milan

The visit to the Poldi Pezzoli Museum was a wonderful surprise. An elegant, refined museum rich in extraordinary works, where each room tells a story of art, history, and a passion for collecting. The atmosphere is unique: it feels like stepping into a home from another time, meticulously cared for in every detail. The collections are magnificent, from paintings to furnishings, to art objects and armor, all displayed with great taste. An engaging visit that is never boring, perfect for both art enthusiasts and those looking to discover a special and less "chaotic" place than large traditional museums. Absolutely recommended!

Beautiful museum

Very nice museum. I don't have much knowledge of art history but the audio guide made me discover some paintings .( Not all are commented). I was particularly impressed by the gun room, clocks and fountains. The staff is helpful and friendly. I don't regret my visit.

A Beautiful Collection of Art & History

The Museo Poldi Pezzoli is a short walk from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The former residence turned museum houses an incredible collection of art, including works by masters like Botticelli and Bellini. What I like about this museum is that it's not huge or overwhelming and it has a little bit of something for everyone; paintings, clocks, tapestries. Strolling through the galleries felt like I was enjoying a personal tour of a private collection. I recommend stopping by for a few hours even if you aren't into art; there's something for everyone here to enjoy.

Museum private collection residence

A museum of note in Milan is located on Via Manzoni: the POLDI PEZZOLI MUSEUM, a refined residence-museum that exhibits a priceless private collection of Renaissance paintings (Piero della Fancesca, Bellini, Botticeli, Mategna,...), clocks, weapons, tapestries armor and historical furniture in an atmosphere of private palace.

Beautiful museum

The museum is located in the center of Milan, in what was once Poldi Pezzoli's house, Bella l'armeria with truly unique pieces, perhaps just a little dark. Beautiful clocks, the Persian carpet of the sixteenth century and paintings, ranging from 300 to 800. The staff was friendly and helpful.

First private museum in Italy

I really enjoyed the design and layout of this small but unique museum with ceramics, china, paintings, etc. What impressed me most was the collection of ancient clocks and pocket watches. They look stunning.
