Billet d'entrée aux sources chaudes de Los Lagos

Description

Los Lagos has quite a number of springs (hot and cold) with varying temperatures to choose from. We went on a rainy day so it wasn’t extremely packed but I imagine it can be. You can purchase a day pass at the Hotel with or without food option and park on site within close enough proximity to springs. With the pass you can use springs until 10pm. There are lockers available and changing rooms. If you don’t have a towel of your own, you can rent one for $2. If you’re there on a rainy day and you plan to get your belongings with you, suggest you have a dry bag- I didn’t see areas to keep items covered from rain. From the locker room/ changing area you navigate to the springs to find the temperature of your choice. The springs with the bar areas had quite a few people but as we walked toward the back less crowded. Some have lounge chairs, others private nooks with built in sitting so you can immerse in your experience without full visibility. There are some hot/cool springs next to each other if you like to go back and forth without having to change locations. It’s a family friendly environment so you will see various age groups. There are lights once dusk hits creating a beautiful ambiance.
We found this pretty overrated and wouldn't do it again. Our kids are 13 and 11 and were pretty bored....there are two water slides and one is geared toward little kids...so not enough to keep their attention very long. Also kinda annoying that after paying to get in you have to pay for towels...
We never went on this excursion. The description says they will Pick us up at our hotel and I was asked for location months prior. But the day of when I called to confirm time of pick up they said it wasn’t included. Byron said I could cancel and would be receiving an email, but I have t received an email or a refund. This is a scam. Be careful
What a beautiful place to visit, the hot springs, pools, the trail with a good variety of animals & birds! Even give a Seniors' discount!! A Costa Rican gem!!
Check in with my day pass was slower than it should have been. I had to double park my car, wait in line at front desk to be told to instead wait in line at concierge desk where my day pass was un recognized because it cam through trip advisor. I showed ID then my ticket and then was asked to wait through a series of calls until they could confirm I had a. Day pass which took 15 min. After that was over, I parked my car and went on with enjoying the hot springs and resort which was beautiful and lunch was delicious. It was clear the resort is a well oiled machine but check in through trip advisor was not. If I had it to do again. I would have just purchased a massage through the hotel which gives you a day pass and enjoyed the hot springs that way. I tried to book a late notice massage while I was there, but they were all booked. While at the spa, I noticed the spa and massage area was like something out of a dream. Book a massage instead of a day pass.
The facility was quite crowded during our visit (understandably, as it was Christmas week), and the availability of hot springs with comfortably warm water was somewhat limited. The check-in process for private bookings was slightly confusing, as we were initially directed to a different location. Furthermore, bringing your own towels is highly recommended. The resort charges a $10 deposit and a $2 fee for each towel rented, with cash being the only accepted form of payment. This can prove inconvenient for those who do not have sufficient cash on hand.
Beautiful environment with so many pools with different temps to choose from. The staff was friendly & the premises were pristine.
It was a beautiful location with lots of activities and a variety of pools with different temperatures. The waterslides were great for our teenagers, & my husband and I loved the hot pools.
Hot springs were nice. Not as warm as we thought they would be.food was average. Too expensive for the experience.
Lovely place with stunning thermals. The views of the volcano were incredible because although it dawned cloudy, we were lucky that it cleared while we were bathing
