Well worth your time. History and interactions abound!
My sister and I went there yesterday and was amazed at the history of the Irish, we knew some history but not as much as needed to be told. The hands on experiences, history music dance was truly worth a visit. Leave yourself plenty of time as it is not a small museum. We loved the passport books you stamp at every new section.

Irish epic
A nice experience well rounded, I was surprised to learn all of the Irish history and all of the people that had Irish blood in them. While there there was a young group of high school students from Austria, and the guy taught them how to play hurling which I thought was delightful.
We did take a cab to get there and of course it ends in a gift shop.
All in all, I found it in informative and a well put together Museum

I would highly recommend this museum when you visit Dublin
This is an amazing interactive museum. It is well thought out, well layed out, and covers so much Irish emmigration history. My husband's grand parents were first generation immigrants to the U.S., so we had a strong interest in learning all that we could, and this museum did not disappoint.

The Good, Bad, and Ugly
The EPIC museum is an amazing place, with so much to see. The museum is broken down into many section that illustrate the Irish experience, and the various aspects of Irish history from the good to the bad, to the ugly. It's a reminder of Irish resilience and moxie. Aesthetically, it is a work of art and very impressive. If you are a lover of history, the Irish journey, and the story of surviving and thriving, I would highly recommend EPIC.

Interesting museum of the Irish diaspora
Excellent museum. Well displayed with lots of information displayed by various forms so it always kept you interested.
I liked the fact that there was lots of information about well known people across the world of Irish descent. Coming from Australia it made it more relevant to learn about the Irish connections of Australian politicians, sportspeople, artists etc.
It was easy to move through the rooms at your own pace.
Very enjoyable and well worth a visit.

Epic museum
This museum offers a very special insight into Irish history; room by room you delve deeper into the history of a country whose inhabitants have not always, and I'll put it mildly, had it easy. With a passport in hand, which you can stamp in every room, you travel further. A very beautiful museum that you definitely shouldn't miss in Dublin. A president with Irish roots also said 'Ich bin ein Beriner' after this museum, I wondered 'Perhaps I'm a bit Irish?'
