Billet d'entrée au Musée du Chocolat

Siamo felici che abbia apprezzato il percorso museale, l’esperienza nella Fabbrica “Bean to Bar”, durante la quale ha realizzato la sua tavoletta di cioccolato, e la degustazione guidata con il nostro esperto. La Città del Cioccolato nasce proprio come un’esperienza a 360 gradi, capace di unire storia, cultura, gusto e attività coinvolgenti per adulti e bambini. Grazie anche per aver ricordato la visita al primo laboratorio Perugina, il luogo storico in cui ebbe inizio una delle più importanti storie del cioccolato italiano. Speriamo di accoglierla nuovamente presto!

Beste bezoeker, Città del Cioccolato is geen museum dat uitsluitend over chocolade uit Perugia gaat, maar een museum van circa 2.800 m² dat de volledige geschiedenis van cacao en chocolade vertelt: van de Meso-Amerikaanse beschavingen tot Europa, Italië en het heden. Binnen deze uitgebreide route is er ruime aandacht voor Perugia, Perugina en Eurochocolate. Daarnaast hebben wij het allereerste laboratorium van Perugina gerestaureerd: de historische plek waar het allemaal begon en een essentieel onderdeel van het chocolade-erfgoed van Perugia. Mocht u terugkeren, dan hopen wij dat u ook deze bijzondere locatie kunt bezoeken. Het museum omvat bovendien multimedia-installaties, interactieve en zintuiglijke ervaringen, proeverijen, workshops en praktische activiteiten. Het chocolaatje onderweg is daarom geen willekeurig gebaar, maar onderdeel van een parcours waarin geschiedenis, cultuur en smaak met elkaar worden verbonden. Dat het concept niet bij uw persoonlijke voorkeur past, respecteren wij. De opmerking dat er te weinig over Perugia wordt verteld, doet echter geen recht aan de omvang, inhoud en historische waarde van de volledige ervaring.

The visit begins with the ancient history of cacao in Mesoamerican civilizations, then follows its arrival in Europe and its evolution over time, moving through the Italian chocolate tradition and finally to Perugia, with Perugina and Eurochocolate. It also includes a cacao forest, the social and sustainability dimension of the supply chain, and a functioning bean-to-bar factory. Alongside this, the museum offers immersive environments, digital installations, a free audio guide, an olfactory experience, tastings, and in-depth content throughout the route. The ticket price is therefore consistent with the nature, quality and breadth of the experience offered. One may not appreciate the visit, of course, but it is only fair to describe it for what it actually is.
