Description

Fantastic car museum, deceptively large given the entrance. the

I'd been looking forward to this since we booked the trip, the other half graciously allowed me to take up some of our time in St. Paul's Bay. I'd seen the pictures of gleaming classic Alfa Romeos and wasn't disappointed, every time I rounded a corner there was apparently a gasp and an exclamation as I'd spotted something else, the collection is fantastic encompassing some vintage and more modern classics, the collections of memorabilia, and the small library of Haynes manuals and other technical literature. - I could have spent hours there, all in it was a fantastic visit and at €10, well worth the money

A Must-Visit for Car Lovers

While looking for things to do in the St Paul’s Bay area during our stay at the Sea View Hotel, I came across the Classic Car Collection Museum online and thought it would be something my husband would enjoy, as he’s a big car enthusiast. From the outside, the museum looks quite modest, so we weren’t expecting much. However, once inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the collection and the variety of vehicles on display. My husband loved every minute of walking around and spotting so many classic cars, including some great models from the 90s that brought back lots of memories. The cars are beautifully presented, and there is plenty to see. Even as someone who isn’t a huge car expert, I found it really interesting. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into the collection. Entry is €10 per person, and in our opinion it is absolutely worth it for the amount there is to see. We spent much longer there than we expected and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. If you’re staying in the area and looking for something different to do, I would definitely recommend a visit. A hidden gem in St Paul’s Bay

Worth a visit

An inconspicuous museum hidden in a house. You can see about 30-40 vehicles there. So it is not gigantic in size, but there are many beautiful classic cars. A visit is definitely worthwhile for people who like cars. I would recommend it.

This detour is worth it

This lovingly curated, partially private collection of automobiles featuring vehicles from all generations and various countries offers a glimpse into the mobility of the turn of the century and the development of vehicles in the years that followed. The only downside: one learns relatively little about the individual exhibits, but perhaps that is still in progress. They are all beautiful to look at and provide great photo opportunities, as one can get quite close to them.

Catastrophique

The lady at the reception was super unkind, she saw me with my veil. She refused the French student card and in addition she refused my ticket because according to her there is a piece of pen on it. We couldn't even come back because of him

Dear I367Gle, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience at our museum. We strive to provide a welcoming environment for all our visitors and I regret to hear that your visit didn't go as planned. I would like to clarify a few points regarding the situation you encountered. During your visit, you requested a discount for your French student card. As outlined in our policies, we can only accept discount cards that we provide. Our receptionist communicated this to you politely, and despite the circumstances, she ultimately offered you a 10% discount as a courtesy. Regarding the payment process, our receptionist kindly informed you that she could not accept a €50 note that was covered in ink. When given the option to change it or pay by card, you chose to decline both options which limited your ability to complete your transaction. Lastly, I must clarify that our staff is trained to treat all guests with respect and professionalism, regardless of their attire, including those wearing a veil. We appreciate your understanding of our policies and the challenges faced during your visit. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please feel free to reach out directly. We're here to ensure that all our guests have a positive experience. Thank you once again for your feedback. Best regards, Mark Galea Owner, Malta Classic Car Museum
