What a great experience! I wasn't sure about doing this -- thought it would be boring. But, every minute the thing turns and you get a different perspective on the city. I took some great pictures!! Only thing I was disappointed in -- it was too short!!! Just half an hour around.
Worth it!!! Air conditioned and room to walk around inside.
We pre-booked out tickets and when we got there the line was easy and fast to get through. The views from the top are fantastic.
Visiting London, there is no doubt you need to ride the London Eye. Be aware that this is a slow-moving, about 30 minute ride for views of London. Don't expect a guide or any narration of facts and history. My friend and I visited on a Tuesday evening (about 7:30pm) and had no wait with a regular GA ticket. I personally don't think anyone needs a fast lane ticket if they are going at a more "off" time. I had a great time, and if you have the time, it is a must-do attraction!
Great experience - don’t mess around in the line - just pay a bit more n skip the Q. Walk right in and head strait on ! On a clear day - you’ll see forever !!
The ticket office was super crowded, but the fast pass was two hours before the reservation time, but I was able to board immediately
Very efficient , friendly staff, well organized as described in advertisements. Would do it again for sure.
Great service and drinks from Safa at the Eye Bar!
Booked the first/opening time on a Thursday using a priority pass. Ended up being first in line on the priority side. They put us in a pod with only 2 other people. So we had 4 in our pod total. It was like a VIP experience. We didn't have to compete for great views and photo opps. Great views, clean pods, seamless experience from buying the tickets to stepping off the eye and buying the photos. This was our first excursion and a great way to start the trip because my husband wouldn't be able to go sight seeing with me in the following days. We only had one day together before his conference started. It's also near the Leak Street Arches, So we walked over to the graffiti tunnel after getting off the Eye. Very convenient. It's close to several other attractions, so you can easily do multiple things in a small radius.
Reserve your tickets in advance and arrive 15 minutes early. If you have never done it, do it. We were there on a very clear day in the late afternoon in early June and the views were terrific! Not sure how would it would be on rainy day.
