We bought the vip pass directly from the Burj Khalifa website for 9pm for our family of four in late June 2025. I was concerned about the queues. On the day we went there were no/minimal queues. Yes it was nice to feel special, and the lounge experience on level 148 was ok. But in hindsight it’s not worth the extra cost. It was definitely crowned on levels 124 and 125 and touristy but the views were similar. Views were also very hazy and I wish that the lights inside were not so bright as with the light glare it was hard to take good pictures. Am glad we’ve done it but it was slightly underwhelming. Would not do again.
Our driver arrived and gave us a wonderful trip to the tower. He dropped us off at the Mall of Dubai and then we walked through the mall, following signs, until we reached the tower entrance (about 20 min). We were greeted with complimentary juice, coffee, and pastries that were served to us (some people just went over and grabbed … a no no) We purposely went 90 minutes before sunset To the 147 floor and we were not disappointed with the view before, during and after the sunset. Also, the top floor was quieter and less populated than floors 125 and 124. 147 floor also had complimentary cappuccino, coffee, juice, water and a pastry plate with dates. We then went down to the 125 and 124 floor which was much louder with children and population. Still lovely views but harder to get to the windows to see the view. I am very glad that we spent a long time on the top floor and were filled up with the view. This is also a good time to compliment our driver on being on time for pickup at our hotel and for being kind and gracious. I have four stars as I’m wondering if this price was worth it to see the view. Either way I guess I would have gone, but it was pricey. I was frustrated with the Expedia explanation of the event. On the Expedia site it says I had to email the company. I received no reply so I called the company who had no listing of my tour and no help as to who else I should call. I hung up feeling anxious and clicked on the “contact the company” button only to find my ticket and instructions for pick up. 15 min later my hotel was calling me to tell me a driver had arrived. So that communication about having to email the company and the phone number provided needs to be changed. Also on one page it says no snacks supplied and another it states just dates are offered. I think this event needs to be reviewed for correct information so it’s not so confusing. The event itself was wonderful and recommended.
Last Friday, I had the pleasure of visiting the Burj Khalifa with my family, and it was truly a proud moment to share this incredible experience with them. From the breathtaking views on Level 148, where we could see the world from above, to the flawless organization, everything exceeded my expectations. What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional hospitality, especially thanks to Cassandra. Her kindness, helpfulness, and politeness left a lasting impression. I'm grateful for this unforgettable memory and the outstanding service that made it all possible.
I was able to get to the observatory immediately without queuing up, which helped. The view was amazing. We had a little drink and food, so I wish we had a little more!
Thank you for your feedback. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
We have recently returned from Dubai and our sons wanted to go up the Burj Khalifa. I managed to book the lounge with skip the line so we were allowed to visit floors 152,153 and 154. You arrive at reception and check in then you get taken into a private lounge with drinks and nibbles whilst being told how the tour will work and what floors we are allowed on. We followed the tour guide round as he told us the history of the Burj, then depending on what colour sticker you have depends on what floor level you are allowed to go on. We went straight to the 154th floor, it felt like seconds in the lift but was scary watching the number of the floors past by so quickly. There we walked out into this lovely lounge area where we were greeted by friendly staff with a selection of canapes, an assortment of fresh bakes and desserts, tea, coffee and soft drinks were all available free of charge and we had a glass of bubbly included on our ticket too which made it even more special. We had a table by the window and the views took your breathe away. The fountains look tiny from us there and perfect setting to watch the sunset. We made our way down floor by floor that we were allowed to visit and then reached the floor of the general public. This was alot busier as you can imagine, there were lots of stalls selling items too which was good idea. Would highly recommend experience
Unfortunately the tour company did not provide Enough information regarding where we would collect our tickets from and how to get to the entrance from inside the Dubai mall. Also the driver that was arranged by the tour company did not know where to drop us off so he drove around in circles not knowing. This caused us to be a little late for our reservation and we had to run through the Dubai mall unnecessarily.
It's a nice location with minimum directions to reach the tower entry point. Very crowded and less ventilation in the queue. Felt suffocated on the 125th floor as it was a low ceiling. Views are nice in 2 directions .

The 145th floor is worth the wait. Truly great views. On the first floor I appreciate all of the posters recognizing the talent that built the building.
The elevator situation at Burj is a serious issue. Hot, muggy and crowded. The view was nice at the top, but the mass of disgusting humanity you have to swim through to get there was absurd. If you're ok with that, it's fine to do it once and check it off the list. Make sure you go to 153-4 for the open deck. Regarding the ticket, found out afterwards that it would have been cheaper and exactly the same to book the tickets ourselves via Burj's own website, which is quite easy to navigate. Overally a waste of money.
