A great experience worth going
This was a fun little excursion for us. The museum isn’t large so you’re only likely to spend an hour or less there. The staff were all very knowledgeable and helpful. The 4D movie experience was definitely the biggest highlight. There’s a lot of fun interactive areas for kids as well. It was a nice change of pace from the other tours we did on our trip to Santorini. If you don’t have a car, you can take either the bus going to Akrotiti or to Perissa to get there and back but let the driver know where you’re going before you leave Fira. There’s a slight walk along the shoulder of the road from and to the bus stop so definitely take your time and use some caution.
Very interesting place about the legend of Atlantis. Activities and explanations available in French, and guided tours in the museum by a real person since everything else is digital.
The museum itself is quite small and does not take long to get around but the staff are very knowledgable, friendly and helpful
Interesting a fun experience for the family. The team are very knowledgeable and friendly and really bring the story to life, especially for the kids! We learned a lot about the island and wished we’d have done this when we first arrived rather than towards the end of our trip.
Great history lesson with interactive stations telling you about the probable site of the lost city of Atlantis. Highly recommend.
Lots of potential and a bit of respite from the heat of Santorini (it’s air conditioned) The info is in bit size chunks and interactive which is great but it needs to be more- perhaps including more about the Greek gods as well as the info about Atlantis and Socrates? Or perhaps more about the Minoan culture/life? Not sure but it’s quite out of the way (in Santorini terms for an experience that is relatively brief. The staff however are utterly brilliant
Fun, interesting, Welcoming and support during the visit in our language (French), not too crowded (morning), interactive, a great time for all.
The 9D experience is super cool, accessible to all ages, if you want to know more about Atlantis this is the place. The guides are super nice and explain very well
Beautiful little fun museum with a nice projection. Interactive (and air-conditioned) rooms for all ages. Parking in front. Charming Welcoming in all languages.
