Avis(101)
Took the boat, two days in a row to visit Venice - Simplicity - Timeliness - Friendly staff.
The booking was easy and quick, the parking lot in front was huge, so there was enough space, and the trips back and forth were excellent. There was also a bit of swinging involved, which was very nice.
At the ferry entrance, groups are prioritized, and one has to wait with the children until the last moment to board, where there are hardly any seats left. Not recommended for families. Not recommended for families.
Dear Kusay_A, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry, as our standard policy is always to give priority boarding to families with young children. It is clear that this was not properly managed during your trip, and we sincerely apologize. We are addressing this with our pier staff to ensure our family-first guidelines are strictly followed in the future.
The outbound trip was great, quite efficient, but the return trip was a bit chaotic in the handling before departure.
Hi Ronny_S, Thanks for sharing your feedback! We're glad the journey there was smooth, but sorry to hear the return organization felt a bit chaotic. We’ll definitely work with our team on the ground to improve this. We hope to welcome you on board again soon for a perfect experience from start to finish! Best regards, The Venetoinside Team
It is best not to go on the weekend, as it is already quite crowded during the week. Otherwise, everything went smoothly with the crossing and also on-site.
Got the bus to punta Sabioni from lido de jeselo to catch the boat to venice. Bus fare is €3.50 p.p. each way. Buy ticket at the bus station or in a Tabacci shop. Boat fare to venice €19 pp return & seperate €10 pp venice tax, without the latter you cant board the ferry & its checked on arrival in venice.
Everything went smoothly on the outbound ferry trip to Venice, and we had a lovely stay in beautiful sunshine. On the return trip, we unfortunately had to wait a full 60 minutes, as groups were allowed on the ferry first. We did not find that very nice, as there were still seats available.
Very good service to Venice, was timely and smooth journey. Would use again.
Timely arrival ensures good places, sometimes places were scarce. From noon Venice will be packed.
We were later than booked due to circumstances, no problem, left half an hour later. The guy at the desk spoke perfect Dutch, by the way
