Itinéraire
Lors de la visite guidée de San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, les clients vivront une expérience unique qui combine histoire, nature et culture. Pendant la visite, ils profiteront du paysage côtier tout en parcourant le sentier panoramique et en prenant des photos du paysage. Ils graviront les 241 marches et visiteront l'ermitage au sommet, dédié à saint Jean-Baptiste. À la fin de la visite, ils apprécieront davantage ce site emblématique et ses liens historiques et culturels.
Bermeo est un lieu plein de charme et d'authenticité, permettant aux visiteurs de se connecter avec l'histoire, la culture et l'esprit maritime du Pays Basque. Au cours de la visite guidée, ils exploreront la vieille ville et visiter le port de pêche.
Mundaka est un village de pêcheurs pittoresque sur la côte basque, connu pour sa beauté naturelle et son célèbre port. Sa cuisine propose des plats comme le marmitako (ragoût de thon) et les palourdes à la marinera, ainsi que des pintxos locaux et du vin txakoli. C’est l’endroit idéal pour déguster les saveurs traditionnelles basques.
Plongez dans l'histoire de Gernika, un lieu riche en mémoire et en émotions. Lors de cette visite à pied, vous découvrirez les abris antiaériens, le légendaire Arbre de Gernika et la superbe peinture murale reproduisant le célèbre tableau de Picasso sur l'attentat. Vous entendrez également des histoires fascinantes qui ont façonné cette ville, située dans la réserve de biosphère d'Urdaibai.

The walk to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is far far more strenuous than the guides will have you know, it's 2.5 miles and very steep especially on the return leg. The achievement is worth it, but think carefully before you commit. Wear sturdy footwear, take water, and don't hang about. 2hrs is only just enough to do the round walk. The coach trip offers great views of the Basque countryside.
Excellent tour guide. Awesome tour. Make sure you are truly physically able and fit. The climb back up from dragon stone is not easy. Lots of walking and good pace. Loved the whole trip. Only gave four stars because time for bathroom use was not factored in. Otherwise, it was fantastic!!!
The time specified in the program does not match what was completed. Less time for Gatzelugatxe. Much walking elsewhere, steep hills. Large groups, and guidance in sixty languages even though we ordered English. Becomes too much flock.
This was a really interesting excursion, combining a very scenic walk to Dragonstone, visits to 3 interesting villages and rounded off with a wine tasting. The tour was well organised and our guide Pedro really enhanced the experience with his knowledge of the history and customs of the region and his delivery was engaging and interesting. Our driver was great too and made it look easy! Would definitely recommend this tour, worth the money.
Gaztelugatxe is a very intense physical experience - over 200 steps up to the top and back and that's not even the hardest part. There's a long and very steep climb back up to the parking area. Bermeo wasn't very exciting. Had an excellent sea bass lunch at the Casino in Mundanka, a very interesting (and too short) visit to Gernika and ended the tour with a Txakoli tasting at a winery. The day trip was well worth the money.

Very well handled across the whole trip despite multiple stops. Probably in summer the Bermeo stop could be skipped for more time at the beach in Mundaka but to each their own. The winery at the end is the perfect conclusion.

We stayed in bakeo . The trip started in bilbao. The visit ran over a whole day and was with max 8 men. The guide was inspired about the Basque culture .It was interesting .With tips on where to eat.Visit Basque parliament and guernika I found the highlight.
