Bilbao : Excursion à Saint-Sébastien, Fontarrabie, Hendaye et Getaria

We were visiting Bilbao but had an extra day to explore. We booked this tour and were not disappointed. Our your guide Amán was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very entertaining. The tour was bilingual, Spanish/English. We had a beautiful day. San Sebastian was stunning. Highly recommended tour.

This is our first time in Bilbao and the Basque Country. For this full day trip, we had a fairly large group but the day was seamlessly organized and we learned a lot and had a lot of fun with Aman, our very knowledgeable and fun guide.

Pedro is a very friendly guide and knows how to make the bus journey very enjoyable, providing historical facts and interesting anecdotes, and the driver, Alberto, contributed to the experience with his careful and safe driving. Each of the stops shone with its natural beauty. It may seem like little time, but in reality, it felt perfect, as it helps you focus on something specific and enjoy it. In Donosti, I chose to be at La Concha Beach, enjoying lunch at the La Perla restaurant and took a stroll along the shore. I will return!

Our guide and driver were both excellent. Our guide Adur provided a wealth of information about the Basque region and its history. He was organised and efficient and included humour in his presentation. We found his recommendations of where to eat in San Sebastián extremely helpful.

Our guide's name is Aitor, and from the beginning to the end of our tour, he was very polite and kind to us. He took us to beautiful places and recommended different sites to visit at each stop 👍. In conclusion, I recommend this tour 100%, and the bus driver was very friendly and drove with great caution on the narrow streets of France 😊.

Our guide Stephane was very knowledgeable about Basque culture, history and particular points of interest. he translated everything in both English and Spanish throughout the entire day. He showed us where to buy good quality jamon, sausages and specialty products. The tour in San Sebastián was especially nice.; we were taken to a great view point and then give us suggestions where to go to best explore the city and Stephane provided fantastic recommendations for lunch. At Ganaria’s on Calle 31 Agusto we ate amazing Pintxos including sea urchin and seared foie gras. Our driver Javier was a great driver….fast and a very smooth ride.

I’ve used Viator in Korea, Porto, Ireland.. those were all A rated tours & so I continued with Viator. This is the worst one .. C at best … basically quantity over quality .. we made multiple stops with a short explanation & then maybe 15-30 min to walk around. Not enjoyable to have to worry about getting back to the bus on time .. only San Sebastián with the ‘3hr’ was a bit better ! Just 2 cities where we have more time to enjoy would be much better . Also our guide - Aitor - nice guide but not a great speaker ... he points out point of interest as we r passing it .. too late for us to look since the bus has already passed it .. he should tell us that the point of interest is coming up .. and getting his right & left would be helpful .. he would say & on ur right , there’s a church .. no church .. only wires & rail for train . He drones on & on … not consistent in his speaking so it’s like someone talking to you one thing, then switches to another… I forgot what he said 5 min ago but seems he’s on the same topic The only good reason to take this bus (not even a tour) to get from town to town . Also at our first stop , he gives us 45 min to walk around , go to bathroom, get coffee But after we get on , he tells us we’ll have more time & the cafes r cheaper ! Thx for letting us know after the fact . Bottom line - don’t bother with this one. Plan ahead & DIY buy ur bus ticket in advance .. we only booked this tour cause bus tickets were sold out .. (last minute & weekend)

This is a great experience and a very good value. We learned about the history and culture of the Basque region from our guide Aitor, all the while traveling in a comfortable coach (thanks for the great driving Mati!) to four interesting and diverse locations. The scenery is beautiful and the coastline truly spectacular.

We were able to visit several places without rushing. We had very nice explanations about the places we visited. Stephan was a great guide!

We had an excelente tour guide. Aitor was very thorough and knowledgeable on all explanation and any inquiry we had. The driver was also very nice and we had a smooth ride. We had questions regarding other cities and Aitor helped us with that and we were able to book another tour directly with them for a pick up from San Sebastián to the French Basque Country which we also enjoyed a lot. Highly recommended.
