I really enjoyed my time at the rainforest adventure. The staff was super nice and welcoming. They helped to explain the process very easily. Everything from the tubing to the zip lines, to the flying Dutchman was very memorable. The atmosphere was breathtaking and I stayed for a few hours. it wasnt too crowded when I went, the lines were not long. I highly recommend coming here while in Saint Maarten!!!

Visited it as part of a culinary excursion while sailing on the Celebrity Beyond which included a meal at the restaurant Emilio’s and a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain. Excursion was fairly pricey but I was seeking to do something different from previous visits. The Rainforest staff were extremely helpful and friendly - offered great customer service. Tour experience was downgraded because of the appearance and a lack of maintenance of the facilities when you take the chairlift to the top of the mountain. You can see areas of the trail along the lift that are in need of repair and improvement. Chairlift ride is approximately 15-20 minutes each way as it climbs up and down the mountain. View once you arrive at the top level is beautiful but the visitor viewing sites on the mountain area is not being well managed. Some parts of stair walking trail smells like a public toilet, seating is falling apart (just throw pieces out) and promised bar facilities is disappointing both by appearance and offerings. As part of the excursion participants were given 1/2 a glass of prosecco in a plastic cup. Would have been classier to just give bottles of water. I did not try using the tubing or zip line features that were offered but based on the appearance of those areas they also need major renovations. Food offerings at Emilio’s was excellent and was the highlight of excursion

We are glad our staff provided great customer service and that you enjoyed your excellent meal at Emilio’s! However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding our mountaintop facilities. The "trails" you observed from the chairlift are actually specialized access pathways and natural water runoff channels designed for mountain drainage, not guest walkways. Additionally, because the peak of Sentry Hill is an open-air, natural environment surrounded by dense tropical vegetation, organic odors from local wildlife and decomposing flora can occasionally carry in the wind, which can be mistaken for plumbing issues. That being said, we take your comments about the mountaintop seating and bar presentation seriously. Our maintenance teams regularly monitor the decks, and we are removing any weathered furniture to keep the viewing areas tidy. We also appreciate your note about the welcome drink; while the prosecco is a popular inclusion for many guests celebrating their climb, we will certainly share your preference for premium bottled water with our cruise tour partners. The flying dutchman was great, but we had to wait in line for quite a while. You have to find the person to put your name on the list first. We enjoyed the zip lines, there was somewhat of a wait there also. They were taking a group of people through at a time, which I believe could have flowed better if they had a least one worker at each station. It appeared that they did not have enough staff. The workers had to "man" more than one station. The schooner was rather boring, stopped part way down and had to push myself to get restarted. Might be good for younger children. We spent about 3-4 hours total to good through all 3.

Because the Flying Dutchman uses a highly specialized launch and mechanical retrieval harness, a waiting list is used so that guests can relax on the observation deck or visit the facilities rather than standing in a static line under the sun. However, we understand that finding the staff member to sign up should be as clear and straightforward as possible. Your observations regarding our canopy zip line flow and staffing are incredibly valuable. We strive to provide a seamless adventure, and your note about staff members "manning" multiple stations has been shared directly with our operations management team to review our scheduling, especially during busy peak hours. We also appreciate your feedback on the Schooner ride. The inner tubes are designed to be a milder, family-friendly attraction, but we regret that it felt a bit slow and required extra effort on your descent. GO EARLY if you want to take the zipline at the top quickly unless you're ok with wasting your time drinking overpriced fruity garbage drinks. I purchased the Big Three Full experience with 2 other friends. We enjoyed the first 2 parts, but then after getting to the top and waiting in a line, we realized that at that point you STILL need to put your name on a list to take the final zipline. WHY????? I already had a reservation... you should be able to just go and get in line. Conveniently there is a bar up there where you can purchase overpriced fruity drinks while you wait for almost 2 hours to take a ride that is about 30 seconds long- NOT WORTH IT. There had to be at least 75 people ahead of us waiting to take one of the 2 ziplines that were being used at that time. It makes total sense to get zipline gear for the first 2 ziplines, then have to take it all off, return it, and then go to the final zipline where you have to wait for 2, maybe 3, ziplines that are being used. WAYY too efficient to keep your gear on and then quickly go on the last zipline. NOPE...they want to keep you there so you can purchase their drinks and spend money- hence they say its a 3 hour experience-unless you say F this, and hop on the lift to go back down. To be fair, the people who actually worked there were pleasant and helpful...I cannot blame them for the management/owners who designed this completely inefficient experience...being able to stay on top of a mountain with the midday caribbean sun cooking me and drinking overpriced alcoholic drinks before my 30 second zip should be a choice, not mandatory if i want the full Big 3 Experience. If you're on vacation with limited time, be aware you are allocating a large portion of your day for a 30 second ride..and oh yeah, if you are old enough to remember Action Park from the 80's.and its sketchy rides.well, that is the first part of the experience

However, we deeply apologize for the frustration you experienced regarding the wait time at the top of the mountain and the gear return process. To clarify the setup, guests must switch out their gear because the Canopy Zip Line and the Flying Dutchman use completely different, specialized harness systems. The Flying Dutchman is the world’s steepest zip line, requiring a heavy, structured launch harness that utilizes a deliberate mechanical retrieval system to return up the line. Because of this technical process and the high volume of guests during peak times, a digital queue/waiting list is used at the top so guests can sit down, move around, or enjoy the observation deck rather than standing in a static line under the sun. We assure you that this system is designed purely for safety and capacity management, not to force purchases at the bar. That being said, we completely understand how a two-hour wait in the midday heat impacted your day, and we take your feedback regarding efficiency and clear communication very seriously. We will work with our operations team to find better ways to manage the queue and keep guests better informed of wait times before they ascend. Flying Dutchman absolutely worth the wait. Canopy tour was a great warmup and saw some pretty cool iguanas.

What a lovely experience! The staff was super friendly and made the experience even better. It is a beautiful way to see St. Martin with gorgeous views! The bar at the top was also great as we waited to do the flying dutchman. Would recommend!

Very good experience. Met good people at the top of the mountain with good views and strong drinks. However, my pictures were missing from the tubing and zip line. I was so disappointed but I still enjoyed myself.

After very, very long lines, the zip line retrieval system to return the harness broke & everyone was canceled with no money back. I'm still waiting for Trip Advisor to refund my money. The venue was completely unwilling to refund on-site. Aside from the unfortunate timing of the breakdown, this company has no regard for your time. You choose a timeslot, but they have no limit to how many others participate. I've done a lot of adventures & this was the most disappointing.

My friend and I took a day off from the sun and ended up here. It was fun! Nice couple of hours doing something different other than the beach. The zip line was really cool!! IT IS HIGH! I am an adventure/thrill seeker so I loved every second of it. This is a great day for kids/families or "big kids" such as myself.
