Description
Nous vous emmènerons au sommet du Mauna Kea pour voir le coucher du soleil et nous observerons ensuite les étoiles (pas au sommet). Notre particularité est que nos guides prendront pour vous la photo du coucher de soleil et des étoiles à l'aide de leur appareil photo reflex numérique. Toutes les photos sont gratuites et vous les recevrez sur votre smartphone à la fin de la visite.

Récupérer les clients à partir de chaque emplacement de ramassage à partir de Target à Kona. Station d'information touristique d'Onizuka Nous ferons une pause au centre d'accueil d'Onizuka à une altitude de 2 800 m ou 9 000 pieds pour un dîner matinal et une acclimatation à l'altitude. Nous changeons également de vêtements pour des vêtements d'hiver ici en fonction de la météo. Une boutique de cadeaux est également ouverte aux clients pour acheter les articles. (Pas de vente de nourriture ou de boisson)
Sommet du Mauna Kea à une altitude de 13 796 pieds (4 205 m) Au sommet du Mauna Kea, vous verrez la majeure partie de l'observatoire au sommet et nous regarderons le coucher du soleil depuis le plus haut sommet d'Hawaï. Profitez d'un moment fantastique！
Après le coucher du soleil, nous observerons les étoiles à l'aide de notre télescope réfracteur et de notre pointeur laser. Notre guide vous expliquera l'étoile, la constellation et les planètes. Nous prendrons également la photo astro avec vous ! (L'endroit où nous ferons l'observation des étoiles peut varier en fonction des conditions météorologiques)

Great time. The views were great. Both the sunset and stars were a sight to behold and our guide James was such an amazing ressource. A great experience being ontop of the highest point of Hawai'i.
Our guide for the tour was Chris. He was very friendly and shared a lot of fun facts about big island and Mauna Kea. The tour was definitely worth the money, the sunset from the summit was amazing and seeing the milky way galaxy while star gazing was magical. A definite must do for everyone visiting!

Chris was an amazing guide and was very knowledgable and informative about the summit. We were able to stargaze and see the milky way as well, thanks to Chris. Overall, Maunakea summit is a must see place and is a once in a life time experience - thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Chris.
Awesome experience all around! Booked last minute, and they were super responsive and accompanying with letting us meet them at the visitor center vice pick up in Kona. The tour itself was incredible. Amazing views for both sunset and star gazing, and Chris and Wes were both super knowledgeable on the sites and the stars.
This experience was absolutely incredible and easily one of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island. There is something truly special about being up on Mauna Kea, above the clouds, surrounded by such incredible views and then watching the stars come alive at night. It genuinely feels like experiencing God’s creation in a way that is hard to put into words. A huge thank you to our guide, Chris, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, but also so personable and easy to talk to. He shared so much about Mauna Kea, the stars, and the history and significance of the mountain, which made the experience feel so much more meaningful. If you’re considering this tour, do it! It is absolutely worth it. One of those experiences we’ll be talking about for a long time.
Very accommodating gets cold when the sun goes down, but they will give you coats love seeing the stars and the sunset all in one evening it’s a long day be prepared

We had an incredible experience on the Mauna Kea summit tour, and a big part of that was thanks to our tour guide, James. He was extremely accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the entire trip, making sure we were comfortable and able to enjoy every part of the experience. The sunset at the summit was absolutely breathtaking, and the stargazing experience afterward was truly unforgettable. The sky was incredibly clear, and we could see the Milky Way belt so vividly—it was a spectacular sight! We also had the opportunity to stop and watch the moonrise, which was another beautiful highlight of the evening. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend the Mauna Kea summit tour, especially with James as your guide. A truly memorable experience from start to finish!
