This is the path of least resistance. If you have done no research on what to see and can’t be bothered with taxis or public busses this is an easy way to see the city, and the informational commentary was great. However for a minimal investment in effort to ID what you want to see, you could even uber it everywhere you wanted for a fraction of the cost of this ticket. Also keep in mind the bus only comes by every 45 minutes if that so you really have to time things carefully otherwise you’re stuck waiting in the sweltering heat for ages killing limited time as we were. This was downside enough that i would skip this completely in favor of catching cabs or transport between sites and going at my own pace (let alone saving $$$) next time.

My family and I holidaying in Kowloon booked tickets for just the green line/ Stanley tour. This ticket included a return ticket on the star ferry to Hong Kong island. We loved seeing the other side of Hong Kong island, the greenery the beaches and the life style of the rich and famous. We hoped off and Stanley for lunch and Repulse Bay to see the beach. This ticketing system allows you to hop on and off when ever you like, with buses coming every 30 minutes.

Lovely sightseeing tour in HK. This tour has 3 routes - Red, Green and Blue routes. I suggest do the Red first, then Green and last the Blue route, or maybe will depend on which district you stay. I commend Mr. Ped, Filipino staff of Big Bus tour Hong Kong. We met Mr. Ped in Star Ferry Terminal just beside Harbour City mall, approachable, very helpful and professional. Thank you Mr Ped! I was told largest mall in world and got off bus but never found the mall. Hundreds os stores everywhere. Then got lost and could not find hop on hop off bus stop. More is a nightmare than a good experience. Sad. Only 1 day in Hong Kong.

On my first day in Hong Kong, I did all three of their tours, the Red, the Green, and the Blue (actually did the Green one twice, it was that cool!). It was a great way to get your bearings in a city that feels overwhelming when you arrive. You get a better sense of specific places along these routes that you might want to come back to on your own (OR, you can just hop off the bus and explore them right then). The sheer variety of the locations was spectacular and the pre-recorded voices on your earphones, telling you about the historical & cultural & architectural importance of the sights passing by, was totally charming and informative. After I did these tours, I was no longer intimidated by Hong Kong and felt so ready to get out into the city, which is exactly what I did for the remainder of my week there. This bus tour is fantastic, especially if the weather isn't great and you just want to see as much as possible in a day. Also, all 4 drivers I had were highly professional and safety oriented. The staff of the company all wear the easy-to-spot maroon shirts and are stationed at multiple kiosks along the promenade and at the piers on both sides of Victoria Harbour. Super available to help you at every turn. I can whole-heartedly recommend this company and their excellent service.

There is SO much to see and learn about Hong Kong that The Big Bus is an excellent way to explore. The Green Route takes you to the absolutely gorgeous costal areas of HK Island and the Red Route helps you to understand. The Big Bus staff are the nicest group of people you'll ever meet. They go out of their way to help you choose the appropriate package and are always available for directions at the various stops. Highly recommend!

It was a great way to see the sights of Hong Kong! We walked to the main stop and used the bus to visit various locations brought the city. We usually sit on the bus for one whole loop and then use it throughout our stay.

Ces greeted us at the meeting location and was super friendly and helpful. There were 3 routes and she let us know which ones to take so that we had time to see as much of HK as possible in the little time that we had. She even escorted us right to the ferry so we wouldn’t get lost. The tour itself was very informative and the lower level of the bus was air conditioned so it was very comfortable in the heat of May.

Booked a 48hr hop on hop off bus ticket. This included the three day routes, red, blue & green which give you a good all round tour of Hong Kong, Stanley & Kowloon. Included tickets for Star Ferry & one ticket for either Peak Tram, Water Taxi Harbour cruise or Sampan Houseboat visit. Peak Tram included the Sky Terrace view which gives great 360 degree views. Fabulous tours made all the better by the cheery drivers & helpful sales staff who make sure you find your stops & don’t miss out on a wonderful friendly city.
