Voir le monastère baroque de Strahov de la Canonerie royale des prémontrés, l'un des plus anciens de cet ordre au monde, fondé en 1143. La première documentation sur le brassage de la bière remonte au début du 14e siècle. Juste au-delà de Strahov, situé sur la colline surplombant le château de Prague, se trouvent des vues imprenables sur la ville. La bibliothèque baroque Strahov contient des collections de livres d'environ 200 000 volumes, nous marcherons derrière les cordes pour avoir une rencontre intime avec les décorations de la bibliothèque (entrée à vos frais 400 CZK environ 18 $).
Goûtez les bières artisanales St. Norbert de la brasserie Strahov Monastic. La brasserie est si petite qu'elle ne sert que ses propres clients.
Sans doute, certaines des meilleures bières artisanales de la République tchèque. Nous traverserons le campus du monastère de Brevnov, établi dans les années 900, le premier sur les terres tchèques. Et puis dégustez les bières artisanales brassées dans les anciennes écuries.

Beer and Baroque tour with super impressive PhD art historian and beer impassionata Katarina. Visited 2 architecturally impressive millenia old abbeys with centuries old brewing stories and contemporary breweries. Plus a mind-blowing gorgeous library with editions dating back to 9th century. Fascinating - and tasty.

Highly recommend this tour and Insight Cities. Vadim was a fantastic guide - interesting, personable and knowledgeable. One of my favorite tours of Prague. It’s a great way to spend three hours seeing amazing sites and having fun with a local. Matous was great and we were able to sample the local cuisine. The library I cannot say enough about it and is a must for anyone visiting Prague. Loved the low key vibe and beer

We had a wonderful tour with Vladim. I would highly recommend the Monastery and Brewery tour. We learned so much and having a private tour guide at the Monastery is the way to go. We also enjoyed the brewery’s we went to!

I was very happy to order a beer and monastery tour led by Vadim, who was funny and friendly, like an old friend taking us on a tour, and whose frescoes became very interesting and alive in Vadim's lectures. Almost a month after we left Prague, we often reminisce about the knowledge Vadim shared with us and the happy chatter.
