Une belle promenade au cœur d'Orvieto vous mènera à la zone souterraine de «Pozzo della Cava» où vous découvrirez la partie cachée de la ville. Ces tunnels ont été fouillés pendant plus de 23 siècles par les habitants de la région. Ici, votre guide vous expliquera comment les salles ont été utilisées au cours de l'histoire et vous regarderez à l'intérieur de l'impressionnant puits étrusque de 36 mètres de profondeur.
Une fois que vous aurez terminé la visite souterraine, vous marcherez jusqu'aux confins de la ville; du haut des falaises, vous admirerez une vue imprenable sur les collines couvertes de vignes et d'oliviers. It was great, but we never went underground. Our tour guide was very flexible and let us stop and look if we saw something of interest.
Great experience. We were able to enjoy the places we wanted to see and at our pace. Pamela was fun to be around and we really had a nice time.
Our guide wove the story of the history of this town in to a great delivery for us. She started with the Etruscan history, looking over the mountains and valleys, then gradually brought us in to the city, where the history came to life with her words.
Our guide, Elena, was amazing! During our tour of the Orvieto Cathedral and underground, we were deeply touched by her warm, inspirational manner and depth of knowledge. She insightfully contextualized and explained the art and artifacts in a way that made us appreciate them all the more. We learned so much from her and enjoyed her pleasant manner. I've been on many such tours through the years. Elena's was the best!

Beautifully location, and great background and history from our guide. However, our guys did not except questions and frequently asked us to be quiet rather than ask questions because otherwise we wouldn’t understand the area. It felt a bit rude. Plus, he discouraged us from seeing the caves, even though that was stated as a part of the tour online.

Loved this informative tour or Orvieto — we highly recommend it. Great detail on the Duomo in particular. Recommend going to the effort of climbing up and down the well that was built in 1527. Very knowledgeable tour guide and a lovely town.
