I would highly recommend this tour. Bertrand is very knowledgeable of the region and the wine industry there. We visited 2 wineries for tastings and saw some of the countryside. We then topped off the tour with lunch on a patio under a tree on his family property. The food and hospitality was excellent. Make sure you partake of this tour when you are in Montpellier.
Bertrand is an excellent person and guide. He shows his passion for wine at all times. The service is excellent, the visit to the vineyards is wonderful, and they also welcome you into their home with a fabulous lunch.
Great wine tasting experience. Went to 2 local wineries and the wines were delicious and very reasonably priced. Bertrand was very knowledgeable about the area and engaging without being overbearing. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to see some off the beaten path places in Montpellier. And the food prepared by his wife for lunch was absolutely delicious!
Superb experience in the company of Bertrand, a true enthusiast; I can only recommend!
This is the second time I have taken Bertrand's tour, and it is always wonderful. The tour was perfect, and the welcome we received from his family always makes this a very special experience. We will be back again!
Excellent wine tour of the pix st loup wines. Super knowledgeable. Bertrand is fun and full of personality and knowledge. We had an amazing lunch at his family home made by his wife highly recommend this tour
Bertrand was very knowledgeable and helpful. Lunch was lovely; it would have been enhanced by the company of Bertrand, his wife and his mother. Although it was very hot, it would have been good to go into the vineyard, as tour photos inferred, and be given some ‘in the field’ information. We had an informative day. PS a little shocked (and embarrassed when told we hadn’t paid) that our tour price hadn’t included the payment for lunch although advertised as wine and food tour. Must have been because we booked with Viator. Read the fine print! Others had theirs included.
In addition to tasting and learning about the wonderful wine of Pic St Loup, the tour meanders through the lovely scenery of the surrounding area. Bertrand balances his knowledge of wine and the region with an unpretentious charm that makes the experience feel personal and homey. Besides the two wineries, he took us to his ~secret~ lookout for a beautiful view of the region's titular mountain, a picturesque medieval-era village, and to his home for a delicious lunch, prepared by his wife, in his garden. His wife was accommodating of my wife's gluten allergy.
Lovely wine tasting and tour of the wineries. Beautiful setting for lunch and visit to Medieval village. Friendly humorous guide
Fabulous trip, we had a lovely day. Bertrand is extremely knowledgeable and very interesting. Lunch was excellent, would definitely recommend this trip.
