Le Fort d'Agra est le deuxième site du patrimoine mondial de la ville. C'est l'un des forts les plus anciens et les plus grands d'Inde. Il a été construit au 10ème siècle par le roi hindou Rajput Badal Singh. Plus tard, ce fort fut reconstruit par le troisième roi moghol Akbar. Akbar a construit de nombreux palais dans le fort d'Agra en grès rouge. Shahjahan a également ajouté de magnifiques bâtiments en marbre blanc. Le palais Jahangir, Diwan-a-khas, Diwan-a-am et khas mahal sont les magnifiques palais du fort d'Agra.

Excellent communication, all via whatsapp. We got picked up from our hotel in Bengalore and was brought to the airport, flight to Delhi was uneventful, picked up by the driver that was with us rest of the day. Driven to Agar (about 3 hours away) then picked up the local guide who was excellent and was very informative during the tours. Got great pictures of the Taj. Next, we were taken to a local restaurant with great food (not covered). Then we visited a local tile shop with excellent display of artwork, then a tour of Fort Agar. And finally brought back to Bengalor and taken back to our hotel. Overall, we had a great time though it was a really long day of traveling but 100% recommend!
