PLAGE DE BENAGIL – Après nous être rencontrés et équipés, nous nous dirigeons ensemble vers la plage de Benagil, où commence la visite en kayak
GROTTE DE BENAGIL – Les kayaks s’approchent du bord de la plage pour une vue parfaite alors que la lumière du soleil coule dans la lucarne. Le guide partage son histoire et sa géologie. Les clients capturent des photos, entourées de murs imposants, de bruits d'eau et de lumière dorée.
GROTTE PIRATE – Le guide partage la légende de la grotte. Malgré l'étroitesse de l'entrée, il s'ouvre sur un intérieur spacieux. Nous pagayons d’un côté à l’autre, la lumière du soleil bleuissant l’eau, une scène inoubliable.
GROTTE D'ALGORINHO - Le guide raconte l'histoire dramatique derrière cette grotte, puis deux kayaks à la fois s'aventurent à l'intérieur pour découvrir la beauté cachée à l'intérieur.
CAVE AU CROCODILE - Le guide arrête le groupe devant la grotte et mentionne qu'il y a un animal à l'intérieur. "Pouvez-vous le repérer?".
GROTTE DES ÉLÉPHANTS - Sous la roche massive, sculptée par la nature en forme abstraite d'éléphant, il y a plusieurs tunnels que nous pouvons traverser, si la mer le permet.
MARINHA BEACH – La dernière étape est la superbe plage de Marinha, l’une des plus belles du monde. Après une courte pause baignade ou détente, nous commençons notre voyage de retour à Benagil Beach, avec des souvenirs inoubliables.

The meeting point was rather strange- you have to find an unmarked gray van by the side of this very steep and windy road. If they could get a "Salty Cliffs Benagil" sign to put on their van, that would be very helpful! Other than that, this was a great experience. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The kayaks and safety equipment were in good shape and comfortable. They supply waterproof bags for your valuables and let you leave the rest of your stuff in their van. Our guide was Alex and he was the best! He told us the history and geology of the area and got out of his kayak to take family photos of each group in the amazing areas. We only had 4 double kayaks in our group so it was very easy to keep us together. Some of the other groups were very large. A small group is definitely the way to go. Alex took us to some really neat caves that bigger groups couldn't do. Try to go as early in the morning as possible. We went around 10 am and it was perfect. When we got back it was so much busier. There are bathrooms right by the launch point but no toilet paper in any stall so bring a little pack of kleenex. Of all the things we did on our vacation, this one really stands out. It's adventurous and memorable. A must do!
Yesterday we went on the kayaktour to the Benagil caves. It was very beautiful and we had a fantastic guide, Flor. She was kind, helpfull and had a great positive energy! To kayak inside the caves was very special. And the view of all the caves was amazing! Also a little swimtime at Marinha beach, was a nice pause. Had a great time. Thanks Flor!

This was the absolute highlight of our trip to the Algarve, and well worth the drive from Lagos. Highly recommend being the first tour out so that there are fewer big boats & fellow kayakers. It made for a peaceful, personal, and serene experience. Flora helped us feel confident & safe, shared interesting facts about the caves, and even offered to take photos for us. Amazing experience all around!
Terrible experience. The route takes place among boats, motorboats, and other vessels, which makes the experience anything but pleasant and relaxing. We were in a three-person kayak, evidently too heavy and difficult to maneuver: we could not keep on course and struggled a lot to move forward. No one, however, advised us to split up or gave us concrete instructions to handle the situation. After a briefing of a few minutes, we were basically left to ourselves. The guide, seeing our difficulties, eventually made us return without allowing us to complete the planned route. The most absurd thing is that, not having been able to complete the excursion, we were not offered any refund or any alternative solution. Therefore, an absolutely negative experience, both for the organization and for the assistance during the activity.
The canoe tour was great 🤩 We paddled through several caves and were even able to jump from a rock into the sea. The guides were both nice and competent, and we were able to experience a very adventurous trip with the best photos 😃
Our instructor and guide Flora was the best, very complete explanations, pleasant about taking our photos and all with a beautiful smile. We knew that the most famous algar was going to be fascinating, beautiful for its shapes and colors; that we would visit hidden and mysterious caves that turned out to be great. The experience was very fun, all of it seasoned with the great professionalism of Flor.
We participated in the small group kayak tour with Alex who was truly kind and competent. He accompanied us to discover truly wonderful caves and coves that we could not have admired in a more pleasant way. Thank you for the beautiful experience.
