The excursion was very good and the guide was also very good. You pass through very beautiful caves; it would have been appreciated to stop at some beach for a swim, but the time is very tight, an hour and a half to go and return is a bit tight, you have to go with the idea of not delaying too much. They recommend arriving 40 minutes early because otherwise the parking is full; we arrived an hour and a bit early and we could not access, late June...
Wonderful experience. The Pria de Marina parking area was full, where we were directed, so we went on to the next area for parking area above Bengali Beach. That cost 3.50 Euro. We then took an Uber to Pria de Marina. So count on going an hour early at least. The Uber was 5 euro each way . A cab back said charge was 10 Euro so use Uber. When you are dropped off there is a bathroom, use it. There’s a walk down steps to the beach on left side of the plaza below parking lot. At bottom Of steps you meet hosts. Ok, now the important stuff. This was an amazing tour. The young guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Kayaks Are typical two man sit on top, life vests provided. The beach where you launch is rather small but works well for launch process which guides well assisted. If you bring articles like wallet, you can leave them at launch with a staff person who stays to watch. The trip itself is moderate strenuous kayaking as you are in ocean with some waves and as you get closer to the caves there are more powerboats making added waves. All that said, THIS was the trip of a lifetime. It was exciting, invigorating and the time spent exploring these marvelous caves was truly amazing. I’m 76 and found it doable, rode in back and laid back t times to make it easier on my back as I paddled. My young wife did well up front. (She liked this comment). We have been many place, we are kayakers, but Incan say this was probably our most memorable kayak experience. Don’t pass this one up. This is a tour to push yourself to do. This is written the day after our trip and we are not so glad we did it.
Incredible experience, the guide was excellent, he helps people in difficulty and takes photos regularly!
Nice experience. I have done it with my 5 years and 8 years old children. They gave waterproof bag. No need of special shoes. You should be still fit to paddle as it is still a long way.
Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Helped us to take some pics as well at the Benagil Cave. Totally recommend especially given the cheaper price compared to the other tours.
The monitor was very kind and attentive. Johan/Joan (we are not sure) made the activity fun, explaining everything and taking photos of us. Highly recommended activity
It was so beautiful to see the caves from the water. The guide was awesome!I highly recommend, this was a great experience.
Overall, we had a fun experience and really enjoyed seeing the coastline, caves, and rock formations from the water. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and kayaking was a great way to explore the area. Our guide was friendly and made sure everyone had opportunities to take photos throughout the tour. He also kindly took photos of us, which we appreciated. The only downside was that, although the tour was advertised in English, the guide's English was quite limited. As a result, the tour was not as interactive or informative as we had expected, and one of the Portuguese guests often helped by translating for the group. That said, the kayaking itself was enjoyable, the views were stunning, and we're glad we did the tour.
Very good communication up front to the event and onsite. Responsable and very easy going tourguide(s). During the tour every now and then checking-in on everyone if their (still) okay. Good info during the tour brought with a hint off humor. I would totally recommend these guy's
Fun experience! Got to check out cool caves and spend time on the water. Guide was helpful when we capsized, took photos of us.
