I had a fabulous Hutong tour with Dee today. Really felt like a walk with a friend. She is very friendly and super knowledgeable. It was great being able to talk about history, daily life and customs in Beijing. We went to less visited sites which felt really authentic. Highly recommend booking this experience!
Lori was a great guide through the Hutongs explaining how they were laid out and significance of the doors. It was a fun sight seeing day and got me more familiar with the city.
The guide Tracy was really good. She made the visit very interesting and enjoyable. She speaks very well English - the best we had during 3 weeks. We visited places far from the crowd.
Great time exploring temples, a church, traditional medicine and more. Dee is very personable, knowledgeable, helpful, willing to answer lots of questions and took us to interesting places. She also gave us recommendations for lunch and checked in with us to make sure we found it and to pass along more recommendations. I also really appreciate that she didn’t try to hard sell us on other activities. I would gladly take another tour with Dee or her team.
The tour route was very well planned and we walked through several interesting sites that I could not have found alone. Tour guide Leonard was very knowledgeable. His passion to history and architecture is well visible. I definitely recommend this tour. This is very off the beaten tourist path. I hope they will have more similarly interesting routes to offer in future.
A walk around the old streets of Beijing, some hidden gems and local knowledge was a perfect start to our stay. Learning about the meaning behind the architectural features and the background history of the Futongs as well as a bit of help on how to make our way around Beijing streets and Metro was really helpful. Heidi our guide was great, friendly and helpful. The highlight of our trip.
This all-in-one trip was a rare-find treasure, especially for someone didn't have much time to do any research and only have short stay like me. We got to see a lot of traditional architecture and beautiful places with rich history, and tried some local delicacies too 😌 Dee is an amazing guide, super fun and tentative! She brought us a lot of local insights that only a "Beijinger" would know! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a hassle free tour to enjoy Beijing's secret traditional spots. 3 hours well spent with great company!
I wasn’t sure where to visit in Beijing cuz I only got a 1-day layover. But I was so lucky to find this all-in-one trip, and got to see beautiful temples, ancient pagodas. I even had great drinks and snacks.
