We were promptly pick up at our hotel and Tram was fantastic. A tour of the markets, where she explained different types of produce. then we went back her house for the boat ride and cooking lesson. Tram made the whole day fun, educational and the food was so terrific. Please sign up
Thanks to Tram, our guide, this was one for the books! She was informative, funny, and charismatic! She kept the pace of the tour on a even pace so that we all learned and all got to experience something new! Her caring and witty personality made this a phenomenal experience! Catching crabs in the coconut boats was fun and frightening but honestly I would do it again. Walking around the market and learning new foods and how to find fresh food was a wonderful experience Tram taught us all! Thank you Tram and all that made this experience so magnificent! I wholeheartedly recommend 😉
We met Tram at the market, where she kindly greeted us for a shopping trip for all of our ingredients. We then jumped in a cab organised by her to her house and kitchen. After a coffee, we jumped on a boat ride for around 30 mins which was very entertaining! The cooking class commenced and was very easy to follow, and the food we made was the best we had eaten since arriving in Vietnam 3 weeks ago. Highly recommend this experience
Super nice experience! We were picked up by a taxi from our hotel and dropped off at a local market. Guide Trum showed us all kinds of ingredients and was explained. Some things were bought for the cooking course. After this we were taken to the coconut boats where we went up the river by couple in the boat. Many boats so enough to see. You can spin in a boat, karaoke and crab fishing. We liked that this was included. After this you will be taken to Trum's house where the course began. An explanation was given about the ingredients and the method of preparation. In total you will make 5 dishes and end up with fresh fruit. Trum is super funny and really makes the experience much more fun. She speaks good English. After the course, everything is put on the table and you eat all together. We were 6 people. We made direct contact with her. The whole tour is highly recommended!
Very good, value for money. It gave all that was advertised and in the end I had a good conversation with the manager too!!
Going to the river, and get on the basket boat .After throgh the coconut trees ,experience the basket boat spinning. It's like a roller coaster.
Easily some of the best food we’ve had on our trip and the chef was a fantastic teacher and very patient. Even our 8 year d was able to follow along and participate in making all the dishes
Very good time! Highly recommend the cooking class and the coconut boat. The guide is kind and funny! My favorite tour I’ve been on so far
We had a brilliant day with Tran visiting the market and cooking up dishes at her home. Our group included 5 teen boys who were a little sceptical but they all threw themselves into it and thoroughly enjoyed them selves. Tran is great, knowledgeable, funny and organised. The coconut boats are a little touristy but good fun. After the boats we cooked and ate at Tran’s - so much food! Would recommend this trip to anyone.
One of the best things we have done on our visit to Vietnam. From the outset Tram was the perfect tour guide, knowledgeable and great fun. We had a trip around the market, a ride in a coconut boat and then cooked a six course lunch which was absolutely delicious 😋
