Something fun and different! Our guide Chiara was very pleasant and knowledgeable and spoke several languages. We had a few minutes to check out St Nicholas’s Cathedral and Chiara told us some fascinating local history. At the pasta-making workshop we felt a bit forgotten by the hosts and Chiara had to do the job of instructing us. Maybe because it was the end of the day. The homemade pasta and wine were very nice.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience and that Chiara's knowledge, enthusiasm, and multilingual skills helped make your tour memorable. We’ll be sure to share your lovely comments with her. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the pasta-making workshop. We're sorry to hear that you felt a bit overlooked by the hosts. Your comments are very valuable and will help us work with our partners to improve the experience for future guests. We're glad you enjoyed the homemade pasta and wine, and we hope to welcome you back to Puglia again soon!
Two experiences in one, first city tour, then pasta making and tasting. Guide Aldo, good and funny, tour interesting
Thank you so much we’re so happy you enjoyed the tour and pasta experience with Aldo 💛
We took this tour with my 86 year old father. It was a great opportunity to see the old city without having to walk far. Cristiano was well informed and a lot of fun! We loved trying to make orecchiette! Meeting Nonna Nunzia was a highlight!
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so glad you and your father enjoyed the city, the orecchiette class, and meeting Nonna Nunzia. It was a pleasure having you with us!
I thought will be a pasta cooking experience but was more a city guide tour with 5 minutes pasta cooking experience. The guide took us to the place where it supposed to do the cooking but surprisingly nobody waited for us there. The local lady was surprised we were there and she quickly laid the table with some small chairs and started to pour some samolima flour for us… After that she cooked some pasta and served in some plastic plates and also served the wine in plastig glasses. not a very nice experience. I can give 5* to our guides they were lovely but not for Velo Service to organise the experience
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that the pasta cooking experience did not meet your expectations. Our intention is always to offer an authentic and enjoyable moment, but it seems we missed the mark this time. We appreciate your kind words about our guides—they are indeed passionate and dedicated. Regarding the pasta activity, we will review the organization and setting to ensure a more welcoming and polished experience in the future. Your comments help us improve, and we hope you might consider giving us another chance to show you the best of Bari. Warm regards, The Velo Service Team
Really fun and delicious pasta and gelato - great activity even in the rain because of the rickshaw :)
We had the best time on this tour with Anna. We went all over the old town of Bari and she was very informative and fun! The pasta making in a locals home was absolutely amazing. It was great getting to see first hand how they make pasta. My teenagers loved it and it tasted delicious! The end was great with gelato. Anna was a great guide!
Fun to learn about the city and kids had a good time making pastas. I would have liked to have had more than 5 minutes at the pasta street though.
There were two of us and can highly recommend the rickshaw tour with pasta course. At the port there is a cheap parking (with parking meter). From there it is about 5 minutes on foot to the meeting point in the old town. Iris, our tour guide, drove us through the many small streets to the highlights of the old town and explained the history of the city. The pasta course took place in a typical apartment of the old town and lasts about 20 min (incl. tasting and wine). We loved the tour and strolled through the streets afterwards.
We booked a rickshaw food tour and had Federica as our guide. She was great, her explanations were very interesting and the rickshaw ride was fun and unforgettable. The food was also very good and we can recommend Federica and the whole team from Velo. All of them were very friendly. I am sure I book again
Dear user, Thank you for choosing our rickshaw tour through the streets of Bari! We are honored to know that everything was pleasant, and that our guide, highly trained Federica, in addition to telling you the history of our land, also entertained you. Hoping that many will accept your advice, see you soon! Have a nice evening!
Carlotta did a great job of showing us around we needed some pointers. Didn't get to do the pasta making because of Illness on there end so the tour was changed into the food street tour . The food was ok and different that what we probably would have gotten so that was nice change of pace. All and all it was a worthwhile thing.
Dear user, we are glad to know that despite the change you also enjoyed this rickshaw tour and pasta preparation. Thanks also and above all to the skill of our guide Carlotta! Come back soon to visit us to experience new adventures together. See you soon and have a nice day!
