Lieu de départ: Goût du marché de Bardstown 212 N. 3rd St. Bardstown, KY 40004 Stationnement: Il y a un parking municipal gratuit au 112 W. Flaget St., Bardstown, KY 40004, en face de Scout & Scholar Brewery. Il y a également un parking gratuit sur la 3ème rue. La visite du Goût de Bardstown dure environ un mile et dure environ trois heures. Doit avoir 21 ans et plus pour participer.

La seule brasserie de la ville de Bardstown. Nommé en l'honneur de William et David Bard. La terre connue aujourd'hui sous le nom de Bardstown a été concédée à David Bard par le gouverneur de Virginie. Initialement nommée Salem, la colonisation a commencé dans les années 1770. En 1780, William Bard, le frère de David, aménagea Bardstown sur le site. Il est devenu le siège du comté lorsque le comté de Nelson, en Virginie, a été créé en 1784. Ici, vous dégusterez du fromage à la bière du Kentucky, avec des bretzels et des nachos chargés ; accompagné de la bière la plus vendue des Scouts, Ol' Buddy.
Construit en 1779 et situé au carrefour du jeune ouest. La Taverne a offert l'hospitalité à tous ceux qui trouvent leur perron. Comme Jessie James et le roi Louie Phillippe ! Ici, vous goûterez un délice du sud, des tomates vertes frites. Accompagné de whisky single Barrel de 1792, sélectionné à la main par la Taverne !
Mr. Tubs, autrefois un tapis de lessive animé, s'est transformé en un bar animé et éclectique ! Conserver son nom d'origine comme un clin d'œil à ses humbles débuts. Dégageant un charme unique, avec son esthétique industrielle-chic ; mélangeant les vestiges de son passé de blanchisserie, une décoration et une ambiance modernes. Ici, vous goûterez un favori local, le gâteau aux fruits de Gethsémani accompagné de whisky blanchi Monk's Road !

Our group of nine visiting senior citizens was led by the very personable, knowledgeable and friendly Victoria and Monica. They took us around Bardstown to a handful of establishments we likely wouldn't have found on our own and a great time was had by all. A perfect mix of food and spirits and pace. We highly recommend that you take part in this tour for a wonderful introduction to Bardstown for out of towners. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!! Thank you again Victoria and Monica.
We really enjoyed this tour with Victoria and also met Josh. We got a local feel, learned some history and more information about bourbon. The food and beverage was generous and yummy. Great guides!
Victoria was amazing! We had a smaller group. She talked about the history and culture of Bardstown. She was very knowledgeable. The food was more than sufficient as well as the the drinks. We stopped at many historical sites. By the end of the day, we felt like friends. I recommend anyone to go on this tour.

This is an intimate and great way to see downtown Bardstown. The food, the beverage, the experience were all top notch.

Great walking tour with so much history and delicious food! Our guides were very fun and so knowledgable.
Tour was done very well, including history of Bardstown, and each of the 4 stops featured both a taste of either beer or bourbon, and plentiful food including delicious pretzel bites with queso, cheese board, gourmet meatball sandwich, and fried green tomatoes. Highly recommend that you start your experience in Bardstown with this tour! Plenty of food for either lunch or dinner. Knowledgeable awesome guide.
Fun and interesting walking tour of some of the highlights of Bardstown. Victoria was a great tour guide and lead us on a well paced stroll to four establishments. Each has it's own "flavor" and ambiance. Lots of local history and Victoria was able to answer questions. This out second tour with them and it again, did not disappoint. We will definitely do again when we visit next year.
