If you are going to do one tour in Barcelona, make it this one. Our guide set the tone immediately when she joked that she was going to be our mother hen and we would be her little chicks. That is exactly what she delivered: warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care from start to finish. Her knowledge goes well beyond food. She is a generous wealth of information on Barcelona's history, culture, and daily life, and her English is excellent. She knows the very best spots in the market, and this is not a samples tour. Come hungry, because you are going to eat. This is the kind of experience that makes a city feel like home. She does not just show you Barcelona. She helps you understand it the way a local would. We left feeling like we had made a real friend.

We did the tasting tour in a group of about 10 people. We really enjoyed it, we were driven around Barcelona, for 5 different stops, we tasted typical dishes and drank wines and spirits. We have also been told a lot about the history of Barcelona. I recommend this tour to everyone.

We did a 3-hour private family food tour in Barcelona with Libor, and it was a standout experience. He was knowledgeable, relaxed, and great with our whole family, including teens. We started at the food market, where Libor explained what locals actually buy and eat, then moved through three excellent spots in the Old Town. The tapas were top-notch, and the cava and vermouth were perfectly chosen and never felt touristy. This tour struck the right balance of food, history, and local insight. Nothing rushed, nothing gimmicky. Just good food, good stories, and a guide who clearly knows and loves the city. Highly recommend if you want to eat well and understand Barcelona beyond the postcard version.
My husband and I were lucky enough to have Libor lead us through the Mercat while tasting some of the local Specialties! Then we walked through the Gothic Quarter where he showed us emblematic restaurants and bodegas where we sampled some of the best of the best! It was truly a special experience. You will not be disappointed!
Libor was an OUTSTANDING Host! He is incredibly knowledgeable about Catalan cuisine and made sure that we had a very well-rounded experience. Starting at the Boqueira Market to learn about the different Iberian Hams with a tasting to visiting local Tapas Bars to enjoy the drinks and foods of the locals and ending with a wonderful sweet treat paired with a fabulous red wine. He is so much fun to talk too, incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Gothic Quarter and happy to share fun facts as you move from one location to the next. We had the best experience and feel like we have a new family friend! HIGHLY recommend and quite honestly; I wouldn't leave Barcelona without taking this tour!
Still dreaming about our Tapas ‘n Wine at the Hidden Bodegas tour with Libor! From the vibrant market full of sights, smells, and flavors to the perfectly paced stroll through the Gothic Quarter, every moment was a treat. The food and wine? Incredible—no need for lunch after that feast! Libor was more than a guide—he made us feel like old friends. Great tour of tapas and wine places around gothic and el born quarters. The guide Libor was amazing! Charming, considerate, funny, knowledgeable. We tried all sorts of classic and modern Tapas of the highest quality, and tried all sorts of new and different original Catalonian wines. 10/10 would recommend and come back again.
The absolute BEST way to spend our first night in Barcelona. With Libor as our tour guide, we enjoyed great local food and wine, while learning some of the history of the beautiful city.
