Nous nous occupons des détails afin que vous puissiez éviter la foule et déguster une cuisine Espagnole authentique faite par les habitants. Pendant deux heures et demie, vous visiterez quatre hauts lieux de tapas à travers le quartier gothique et El Born, dégustant des petites assiettes classiques et des boissons locales tout en découvrant des joyaux culturels cachés. En cours de route, découvrez des ruines romaines, des places charmantes et des monuments comme la basilique Santa Maria del Mar. Des patatas bravas aux pimientos de Padrón en passant par les croquettes, la paella et un dessert catalan traditionnel, vous goûterez le meilleur de la gastronomie Espagnole et Catalane, accompagné de vin, de vermouth et de cava. Rencontrez votre sympathique Guide local au Pl. de Correus, 1, près du bureau de poste principal du quartier gothique de Barcelone. Recherchez le drapeau ou le panneau jaune Carpe Diem Tours. Veuillez arriver 10 minutes à l'avance, car la visite commence rapidement et aucun remboursement n'est disponible pour les arrivées tardives.
Au cœur de la cuisine catalane, le quartier gothique est une visite incontournable pour tout gourmet. Explorez le plus vieux quartier de Barcelone à travers ses saveurs, en commençant par un lieu familial de tapas. Dégustez des classiques Espagnols comme des croquettes, des patatas bravas et des pimientos de Padrón, parfaitement accompagnés d'un verre de vin local.
Cette bodega familiale fait les choses comme il faut depuis 1945. Avec seulement quatre tapas au menu, il met en valeur l'âme sans fioritures de la cuisine Espagnole. À quelques pas du port, nous mangerons comme les marins le faisaient il y a longtemps, partageant des cornets de boquerones croustillantes, goûtant à la saucisse catalane traditionnelle de butifarra, et arrosant le tout d’une coulée d’un porrón et d’un verre de vermouth Espagnol. *En raison des vacances saisonnières, de la disponibilité du week-end et des conditions météorologiques, nous ne pourrons peut-être pas nous rendre à cet endroit, mais nous compenserons en commandant de la nourriture supplémentaire à un autre arrêt ou en remplaçant cet endroit par un autre endroit.*
Nous flânerons dans le plus vieux quartier de la ville en nous émerveillant devant les anciennes murailles romaines et les tours en route vers la prochaine halte alimentaire.
Après avoir quitté le quartier gothique, nous nous dirigerons vers la bohème El Born où nous déambulerons dans des ruelles pittoresques, faisant du shopping dans des boutiques artisanales et des galeries d'art.
Découvrez l'histoire derrière les tapas dans le cadre animé d'un bar à pintxos classique, inspiré du Pays Basque. Puis plongez, en sélectionnant vos pintxos préférés directement depuis le bar.
Avant notre dernier arrêt, nous allons voir l'une des plus belles basiliques de Barcelone.
Nous retournerons au quartier gothique pour la grande finale : une paella copieuse, un verre de cava pétillant et un dessert Espagnol classique qui vous fera retomber amoureux de Barcelone.

The tapas tour was fantastic! Lots of local food and drink, nice (air conditioned!) restaurants to sit and chat with fellow travelers, great walk around old town, and Claudio was a wonderful guide! He explained all of the food and talked about Catalan traditions and the area. Highest recommendation!

We had such a fun evening with the wonderful Tahmi who was so informative and so friendly. We had a great group who all mixed in together, Aussies from Sydney and Melbourne, fantastic American ladies from Maryland and DC and us Brits. Nice to be guided around 4 bars/ points of interest. Food was great and to have a drink included at each stop was great value. Would suggest that you are not shy about saying if you are not a fish or seafood fan when you purchase or again when you meet the guide. They definitely accommodated my request which was great to see but others didn’t meaning my vegetarian food had to be shared quite widely when we arrived for the paella at the last venue. If you don’t ask in advance don’t expect last minute changes to be accommodated as the tour is on quite a tight timeline to reach each venue.
