Le BAPS Hindu Mandir à Abu Dhabi est le premier temple hindou traditionnel des Émirats arabes unis, symbole de tolérance et d'harmonie culturelle dans la région. Situé dans la région d'Abou Mureikha, il se présente comme un lieu de culte, de spiritualité et d'engagement communautaire pour les hindous aux Émirats arabes unis et au-delà. Construit en pierre sculptée à la main, le temple présente des dessins complexes qui reflètent le patrimoine architectural indien. Le village du patrimoine d'Abu Dhabi est une reconstitution d'un village émirati traditionnel, offrant aux visiteurs un aperçu de l'ère prépétrolière des Émirats arabes unis. Situé près du Marina Mall sur la Corniche, il est géré par l'Emirates Heritage Club. Le village présente des expositions de style de vie bédouin, d'artisanat traditionnel et d'artefacts locaux. It was interesting viewing the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. The Baps Hindu Temple had good food as well. The travel guide taught us few interesting facts.

It was breathtaking and fascinating to see these wonderful objects. Our guide was extremely polite and very funny. Time has passed very quickly with him, as he took great care of us. We were amazed that he had so much knowledge at such a young age of 24. All in all, we are more than satisfied with the program. His name was Shamnad Noushad.

For today I had booked a tour to Abu Dhabi to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the BAPS Mandir. Mr Zain was our guide and he did a great job : felt comfortable with him and he could tell a lot about Dubai/Abu Dhabi. Will recommend him for sure in my circle and will book a tour with him for sure.
