Découvrez deux des marchés les plus célèbres de Thaïlande en une journée inoubliable. Après avoir rencontré votre guide à Bangkok, rendez-vous à Ratchaburi pour visiter le marché flottant de Damnoen Saduak, qui existe depuis plus de 150 ans. Profitez d'une promenade en bateau sur les canaux bordés de maisons et de végétation, en observant les vendeurs proposant fruits, en-cas et objets artisanaux depuis leurs embarcations. Explorez le marché à pied, goûtez aux produits locaux et imprégnez-vous de son atmosphère vibrante. Ensuite, visitez le marché ferroviaire de Mae Klong, situé sur des voies ferrées en activité. Flânez parmi les étals vendant des fruits et des spécialités thaïlandaises et assistez au moment impressionnant où le train passe à quelques centimètres seulement des vendeurs. Au cours de la visite, le guide partagera des informations sur l'histoire et les traditions locales. Je suis rentré à Bangkok avec des souvenirs uniques. Options privées ou de groupe disponibles. La visite du marché flottant et celle du marché ferroviaire peuvent être interverties, en fonction des horaires des trains.

Nous quitterons la ville de Bangkok et prendrons la route pendant environ 1h30. jusqu'à atteindre la petite ville de Mae Klong pour voir le marché du train.
Nous prendrons ici un bateau typique pour nous rendre au marché, en naviguant le long des canaux (klongs en thaï). Nous verrons comment les habitants achètent et vendent de bateau en bateau tout ce que vous pouvez imaginer : épices, fruits et légumes, artisanat, souvenirs… Vous aurez du temps libre pour explorer les ruelles sinueuses, savourer les produits locaux, flâner dans les environs et profiter à votre guise de ce lieu fantastique avant de retourner à la vibrante Bangkok.
Au marché flottant de Damnoen Saduak, vous pourrez découvrir un marché flottant traditionnel où des vendeurs locaux proposent des fruits frais, des plats typiques et de l'artisanat depuis de petites embarcations. Au cours de cette excursion, vous profiterez d'une ambiance colorée et animée, vous découvrirez un peu la vie quotidienne en Thaïlande et vous prendrez des photos uniques des canaux remplis de bateaux et de la culture locale.
Nous avons ensuite poursuivi notre voyage vers la province thaïlandaise de Ratchaburi pour visiter le marché ferroviaire.
Transfert en train jusqu'au marché ferroviaire de Mae Klong.
Ce marché particulier et traditionnel, unique au monde, est un véritable spectacle. Contempler la façon dont les stands de produits locaux sont montés et démontés à chaque passage de train, accompagnés par l'agitation de ses visiteurs, les arômes et la belle couleur du lieu, feront de la visite une expérience inoubliable.
Retour à la vibrante Bangkok. La visite se termine au point de départ.

- Veuillez noter que la circulation est dense à Bangkok ; pour les points de rencontre, prévoyez suffisamment de temps pour arriver à l'heure au départ.
- Il est très important d'arriver au point de rendez-vous 15 minutes avant l'heure de départ.
- Afin de ne pas gêner les autres passagers, la visite ne sera pas effectuée pour les personnes arrivant en retard et commencera avec les participants présents.
- Une fois le groupe parti, il ne sera plus possible de le rejoindre en cours de route.
- Conformément à la politique établie concernant les horaires de début, les personnes qui manquent la visite en raison d'une arrivée tardive ne pourront prétendre à aucun remboursement ni à aucun report.
- Nous vous déconseillons de réserver si vous avez un vol le jour de l'excursion.
- L'excursion en pirogue à moteur n'est pas adaptée aux personnes pesant plus de 100 kg ou mesurant plus de 185 cm. Si un bateau privé est nécessaire, un supplément de 250 bahts sera appliqué.

- L'excursion, qui débute à 7h00, peut se terminer au Swensen's Banglamphu ou au Grand Palais, selon la configuration et la dynamique du groupe.

All services provided by this activity provider are excellent but the only point is the meeting point for this tour is out of the way for me. The meeting point should be housed somewhere inside the city centre where the travelling time to get there is faster and earlier especially before the office hours rush period in the morning in progression. Our tour guide named Katie is friendly, resourceful and going out the extra mile to assist us during the tour. The salt farms visit was rather interesting despite the smelly salty surrounding us. We did leant a lot about how salts are cultivated and processed into various consumptions. The train market and river floating markets were very interesting. You get to understand how the earlier life of these locals did tradings.

Jenny the tour guide was amazing but the train ride could have happened on the bus. Hella hot for no reason. We only got to spend 10 mins at the train station couldn't really shop. The floating market was better but them old ladies be aggressive. Tiger bomb lady wasn't trying to let me leave. I was like I don't want it, it stank.

Our tour guide Tammy was excellent and was great with our children. She had a quick Thai language lesson prepared for the ride to the markets. We learned a lot and got to experience the famous railroad market. She reserved seats for us at a soda / coffee shop that was within inches of the train!

Jenny, our tour guide, is a superstar. She really took care of us. She got us a good view of the train at the Maeklong Railway Market. And when we got back to Bangkok, she helped us get the correct subway line back to our hotel. After helping us, I saw her get a taxi for another family. Highly recommend!

The Floating Market was too faraway from Bangkok, the Canoe shopping experience was too short considering the time travel in the bus ! the prices are higher compared to other shopping centres in Thailand. The Railway Market is a must visit place in Bangkok even it is very crowded still an exceptional destination, specially when it was announced that train is approaching and shoppers must move their belongings away , tourists should mind the gab and turn back behind the red line. Sam the Guide, made our day with his sense of humour, his knowledge and ability to tell the history in a funny way, his passion and his generosity.
