La forêt des singes d'Ubud abrite plus de 700 macaques à longues queues grises. Également connu sous le nom de forêt sacrée des singes de Padangtegal, ce sanctuaire naturel présente des chemins pavés traversant une forêt de feuilles de muscade ainsi que plusieurs temples antiques sous un feuillage dense.
Le marché d'art d'Ubud est un bon endroit pour trouver de magnifiques foulards en soie, des chemises légères, des statues, des cerfs-volants, des sacs tissés à la main, des paniers ou des chapeaux et de nombreux autres articles fabriqués à la main. Connu localement sous le nom de Pasar Seni Ubud, il se trouve en face du palais royal Puri Saren Ubud et est ouvert tous les jours.
Les rizières en terrasses de Tegallalang à Ubud sont célèbres pour leurs superbes scènes de rizières et leur système d’irrigation novateur. Connu sous le nom de SUBAK, le système d'irrigation coopératif traditionnel balinais aurait été transmis par un saint homme vénéré, Rsi Markandeya, au 8ème siècle.
Tirta Empul est un complexe de temples majeur et une source de montagne sacrée située dans le village de Manukaya, dans le centre de Bali. Le site est le cadre légendaire d’un conte traditionnel sur le bien et le mal.
est l'une des belles cascades autour d'Ubud qui ont une vue sur la forêt autour de la cascade. Et bon endroit pour nager.

We met Susila in Ubud and right off the bat we felt like we met someone special. First of all his English is incredible! This really sets hem apart from other guides in the Ubud area. He understands everything and that makes communicating so easy. Furthermore, he is so interesting! During our car rides he would tell all about his family and the traditions in Bali. Something I could listen to for hours and not get bored. We want quad riding, rafting, mount Batur sunrise hiking and did a day trip with Susila. He managed everything for us so our holiday was worry free. When we were at the temple, he had so much knowledge about everything. Making the temple 10x more interesting than going alone. Susila is also an incredible driver giving you the most comfortable ride. Going out of the way of potholes to give you the best ride in all of Bali. The long drives were never boring with you Susila and I’ll miss you, I wish I could take you with me through the rest of my journey but for now I wish you the very best my friend. May we meet again someday 🙂.
Susila is a great driver and a fantastic guide. He adapted perfectly to what we wanted to visit and our timetable. His English was pretty good and he explained us everything about Bali, its history and traditions. He was always willing to take pictures of me and drive us to local spots for lunch. And in addition to all of this, his prices are fantastic if you travel on a low budget. The best option!
My sister and I had the pleasure of going on a tour with Susila around Ubud. He made sure we ticked off all our desired spots as well as adding some wonderful hidden gems to our itinerary. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every temple and tourist spot we stopped in. He was patient and super friendly, we couldn’t recommend him more. My only complaint is that we didn’t meet Susila sooner or we would’ve booked all our tours with him!
