Cette expérience exclusive vous fera découvrir le paysage et la faune de la cordillère des Andes. Votre guide professionnel viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel ou Airbnb pour commencer la visite et vous rendre à Cotopaxi. Les 90 minutes de route de Quito à Cotopaxi regorgent de belles montagnes et de petits villages chaleureux. En arrivant à Cotopaxi, le guide local vous attendra avec des casques, des ponchos et des chevaux. Ensuite, vous monterez à cheval pendant 2-3 heures autour des prairies et du magnifique volcan. Sur le chemin du retour, nous profiterons d'une boîte à lunch puis continuerons vers la lagune de Limpiopungo. Le lagon est situé dans un plateau plat où vous ferez une randonnée d'une heure autour. C'est un endroit incroyable pour voir les plantes, les fleurs et les oiseaux locaux. À la fin, vous reviendrez à Quito ou vous arrêterez dans un restaurant local pour déjeuner. Dépose à votre hôtel

Itinéraire
Montez à cheval dans le deuxième volcan le plus haut d'Équateur. Le trajet de 2 à 3 heures vous permettra de visiter certaines des plus belles prairies et collines où les sources naturelles descendant du volcan se jettent dans la vallée andine. Le paysage est à couper le souffle.
Le magnifique parc national abrite de nombreux animaux sauvages comme des chevaux, des cerfs et des oiseaux. Pendant ce temps, vous admirerez les hautes montagnes et observerez également la faune étonnante.
La randonnée à la mare de Limpiopungo dure 1 heure et nous permet d'observer une réserve d'oiseaux et de nombreuses plantes et fleurs indigènes des prairies.

This is a beautiful experience that connects with nature and the beauty of Copaxi. The horses were so gentle and our guide, Daniel spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable.

Riders are outfitted with ponchos and chaps, which are items I had never used before but was very glad to have. They kept me warm and dry through the changeable weather. The two hour ride covered a variety of terrains with 360 degree views of gorgeous countryside throughout. The leaders are were relaxed but effective, providing a stress-free experience. This was easily the best "rental ride" I have ever done and enthusiastically recommend it! We had a professional guide that day, but he did not join us on the ride. (The nearby restaurant has very inflated prices and other options are available with a brief drive.)

Our guide, Christian, was knowledgeable and fun. Horseback riding was a great way to see Cotopaxi since the high elevation makes hiking difficult. The horses were sure-footed and Patrik outfitted us with ponchos and chaps to keep us warm. Be sure to bring a hat and gloves. We bought them from a vendor next to the horses and we really needed them. We saw lots of birds on the lagoon walk.

We had an amazing time at Cotopaxi National Park with our guide, Christian. He was on time, friendly, and very informative, sharing so much about the park’s history, geology, and wildlife. This was a fantastic excursion. The lagoon was a beautiful 2 mile hike at a nice easy pace. The horseback ride was fantastic! The actual time on the horse was a full two hours and the scenery was spectacular. They provided warm chaps and a warm poncho, so I was very comfortable. My guide was very knowledgeable and his English was perfect. On the way home we stopped at a great local little restaurant for a late lunch.

This was a lovely ride and walk! However, be aware that it is at a high altitude. If you aren't used to it don't try this your first day in Quito.
