We had a private bath with massage booked, for myself and my daughter (22) we arrived at our apt 15 mins early and sat in the spa waiting room which was lovely and warm but we were directed to sit in our hotel lobby instead?? Made an observation when we were then asked to come through to the spa, saw that the man behind the reception had been having his Pizza?! Not professional eating on the job. Anyway we were then met by a lovely lady and she directed us to changing room (don’t expect a luxury changing area) to get changed. We then had our 30min massage in a room together which was great and had our face clay mask applied. We then were taken to a Hammam room with a rather small marble stone to both lie on which was impossible and we are not big girls. So I kindly questioned this and the lady then suggested we go to the public area in which we were able to lie down and were more comfortable. The hammam was absolutely great the lady was friendly and very professional making sure we enjoyed our experience. After the hamman we sat in a room and were given Turkish tea. We then headed back to the changing area and it was only accessible via reception area due to layout of the spa. We started at 8pm and finished at 9pm. Personally I would NOT book a private bath and WOULD book the public bath with 30min massage as it more of an experience being in the main area. This is an honest feedback and for anyone reading this not to spend more money as you will be disappointed paying for 2 people in a private bath. Overall Myself and my daughter had a relaxing time thanks to the lovely lady that looked after us. It deserved a 4* to reflect the ladies in the spa that work hard. It didn’t quite achieve a 5* due to some area’s being a little run down and no spa ambience in the relaxing area where we had our Turkish tea. I also gave it a 3/5 for value for money as I paid £80 each for private bath & 30min massage and could of saved myself money booking public bath.

Where to start? Changing in a prison sized cubicle with my sister with no access to privacy was interesting. The hamam itself is nice, Russian style neon strip lighting wasn't as much. Particularly as it advertised as a historical site. We had access to the entire hamam on our own which was nice though. The women were great and thorough. Afterwards we were taken through to a dank smelling area & given overly strong bitter tea which we left very quickly. There were no Changing rooms, mirrors or access to private hair dryers. bizarre! We got changed in the hotel toilets which was not the best experience.

Booked a VIP room : paid 150 Euro for 75min massage | 30 min private bath scrubbing | face clay mask | sauna & jacuzzi | 25 min swimming pool & steam room. barely got scrubbed, the foam bath was like a bubble bath thrown on top of you, and the clay mask was out of a L’Oréal pot WTF! and then you are left in a cold waiting room with a std cup of tea. It gets worse you are walked by reception with a towel on being gawked at by the men at reception to be taken to a massage room. This massage room has a spa bath and the whole time you are being massaged the spa is being filled up, music is playing and on top of that the TV is on! Which part of this is relaxing!!!! You are then left in the room with no instructions - I gathered here that I was suppose to enjoy the spa and sauna. The spa was cold no added aroma, the sauna a waste of time and no swimming pool! The therapist was Indonesian so not a true Turkish bath experience. Have been to a better one home in Sydney. The staff are loud and all on their phones - none of them are doing a lot. Pay the extra Euro to go to a better one in Sultanahmet, it will be worth it! DO NOT GO HERE!

All good until I checked my wallet immediately after leaving and it had been emptied. All cash gone. Made the mistake of putting my locker key down when getting the hamam. Guy on reception couldn’t care less and Wyndham hotel not interested if not staying there.

Though somehow different to typical local hamam I am used to , I liked the experience. For a start it is a very old hamam ; the people who served were gentle and attentive. The service provided was good ; it is especially good for people who do not like crowded places .

The Hammam was great and our whole family enjoyed it (son 10yrs and daughter 13yrs). The staff were very friendly and even though they didn’t speak English made sure to make my children feel comfortable with each step. Everyone has been asking if we can go back again. Highly recommend.

I paid 100€ and it was not worth it at all it wasnt even close to a 100€ experience. Nothing was luxury nothing was even close to high class. I wouldnt pay anything more than 20€ for everything. The pool and steam room and sauna were terrible it was like going to a 1 star hotel. Its like you pay for a very delicious steak in a good restaurant but when you get there they bring you macdonalds in a basement
