Deux de nos endroits préférés en une seule journée. Voyagez du monde des anciens Mayas aux anciennes routes pirates de Bacalar, tous de la Costa Maya. Explorez les ruines mayas de Chacchoben, où d'anciens temples et structures cérémonielles s'élèvent parmi la jungle tropicale. Promenez-vous sur le site avec votre Guide, découvrant l'histoire de cette ville maya tout en étant entouré de plantes indigènes, d'oiseaux tropicaux, et des bruits de la jungle. Ensuite, quittez l’ancienne ville et continuez jusqu’au lagon des sept couleurs de Bacalar, qui faisait autrefois partie d’anciennes routes pirates et aujourd’hui célèbre pour son eau douce claire et ses nuances de bleu changeantes. Nagez, faites du kayak ou détendez-vous simplement au bord du lagon avec une boisson fraîche tout en admirant la brise et la vue. Et parce qu'une journée comme celle-ci mérite une bonne nourriture, profitez d'un déjeuner inclus juste au bord de la lagune avant de retourner à Costa Maya.

Votre aventure commence par le transport depuis la Costa Maya, départ 1 heure après l'arrivée de votre bateau de croisière au port. Profitez de l'environ 50 minutes en voiture de Chacchoben, en passant par les villages locaux le long du chemin. Passez environ 1 heure à explorer les ruines mayas de Chacchoben avec votre Guide, à la découverte d'un ancien centre cérémoniel maya entouré de jungle tropicale. Promenez-vous parmi les temples et les structures impressionnantes tout en découvrant l'histoire et les secrets de cette ville fascinante. Suivez les sentiers de la jungle et profitez de la combinaison de l'architecture maya ancienne et de la nature tropicale, avec des plantes indigènes, des oiseaux colorés, et même la possibilité d'apercevoir des singes-araignées parmi les arbres. Après avoir exploré Chacchoben, continuez environ 25 minutes jusqu'au lagon Bacalar pour la deuxième partie de votre aventure.
Après avoir exploré Chacchoben, continuez jusqu'au magnifique lagon Bacalar Seven Color, autrefois un havre de paix pour les pirates et aujourd'hui célèbre pour son eau douce cristalline et ses incroyables nuances de bleu et de turquoise. Passez environ 2 heures au bord du lagon à en profiter à votre rythme. Prenez une baignade rafraîchissante, prenez un kayak et explorez l'eau, ou simplement détendez-vous sur une chaise longue avec une boisson fraîche tout en profitant de la brise et de la vue. Prenez une pause pour un déjeuner taco inclus avec des chips et de la salsa, en choisissant parmi des garnitures telles que des fajitas au poulet, des saucisses Espagnoles avec pomme de terre, ou du pasteur traditionnel al. Après votre séjour à Bacalar, asseyez-vous et détendez-vous sur le trajet aller-retour d'environ 1 heure et 5 minutes vers le port de Costa Maya, en gardant toujours à l'esprit votre horaire de croisière.

- Les gilets de sauvetage sont obligatoires pour toutes les activités nautiques et sont fournis
- Les activités nautiques peuvent être restreintes par les autorités locales en raison du vent, de la foudre ou d'autres conditions météorologiques dangereuses.
- Les enfants doivent être âgés de 10 ans ou plus pour pagayer seuls en kayak. Les enfants de moins de 10 ans peuvent faire du kayak avec un adulte surveillant.
- Arrivées tardives / non-présentations : Les clients qui arrivent en retard ou qui ne se présentent pas à leur activité prévue ne sont pas admissibles à un remboursement.
- La limite de poids pour un kayak simple est de 220 livres ou 270 livres pour un kayak double.
- Cette visite consiste à marcher en plein air sur des sentiers de jungle, avec quelques rochers, racines et surfaces inégales.
- Le kayak n'est pas autorisé pour les clients enceintes.
- Les véhicules de transport peuvent accueillir des fauteuils roulants pliables seulement. Les véhicules ne sont pas adaptés aux fauteuils roulants, et les fauteuils roulants non pliants ne peuvent pas être logés. La partie du lagon Bacalar n'est pas accessible aux fauteuils roulants en raison du relief naturel et des points d'accès à l'eau.

Elliott (our guide) and Pedro (our driver) were phenomenal! Our cruise ship had limited time at port that day. Our guide adapted the excursion and watched the time for us so that we didn’t have to stress about making it back to the ship on time. We had grandma with us in a wheelchair and they were able to accommodate her. Our guide’s knowledge was very impressive and he taught us about the Maya culture and history in an engaging and fun way. Great sense of humor too! The perfect balance between history and fun. The tacos we delicious and Bacalar Lagoon was stunning. The water temp was perfect. The kids loved kayaking and jumping off the dock. 10 out of 10 experience!

This was a relaxing and great tour! Our tour guide was Alan. What an absolute joy he was!!!! The ruins were fascinating. Driving to the ruins, you got a feel for how the locals live. Very eye opening. We loved the lagoon and the food was delicious!!

Our guide Joel was very informative and did a great job educating the group on the history of the Mayans and encouraged us to learn the real culture! The ruins were interesting. The Lagoon was not what we expected. The pictures show beautiful cenotes, but the spot was REALLY small and there are no cenotes. The drinks were cold but so was the food. Overall, this excursion was nice, but it was rushed and there is a lot of riding on the bus.

We experienced issues with the AC during the bus ride to the ruins. With the heat it’s was unbearable once we got to the ruins we changed busses and the rest of the experience was excellent. Erick and Diego were amazing guides

Yoshi was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable of the history of the ruins! Had tasty adobada and chicken tacos, tortilla chips, salsas, and pina coladas at the bacalar lagoon and kayaking was a blast! Definitely recommend this tour :)

Overall, the experience was excellent and enjoyable. The ruins were fascinating and exciting to explore. The time there unfortunately was a bit rushed so would recommend spending a bit more time there. The Bacalar Lagoon part of the experience was disappointing and misleading. The pictures on Viator are not accurate and do not depict the actual lagoon visited. While the place was enjoyable, it was not nearly as pretty as the pictures posted on Viator by the provider. The place is a lagoon (lake actually), but not where the seven color Bacalar Lagoon is. So please be aware. As far as the staff directing the excursion, they were all outstanding, professional, fun, entertaining, and caring individuals. They made the trip.
