★★★★★ 10/10 Experience! This was the highlight of our entire cruise and one of the best excursions our family has ever taken. Jhoana was an amazing tour guide. From the moment we met her, she made us feel welcome. By the end of the day, we felt like family. She shared the history of Bacalar and the Seven Color Lagoon in a way that was interesting and easy to understand. She even surprised us by bringing fresh local pineapple, cutting it up herself, and serving it to us while we were relaxing in the beautiful turquoise water. That personal touch meant so much to our family. She also took us to an authentic local restaurant that served some of the best food we had during our trip. It was absolutely delicious and something we never would have found on our own. Our kids loved every minute. They got to swim in the incredible lagoon, drive the pontoon boat, and laugh with the crew throughout the day. These are memories our family will cherish for years to come. If you are visiting Costa Maya, do yourself a favor and book this excursion. Ask for Jhoana by name. We had a spectacular experience on the tour to the Lagoon of Seven Colors in Bacalar with Bacalar Experiences! From the beginning, everything was very well organized. We especially want to highlight the excellent work of our guide, Jhoana, who was very kind, professional, and demonstrated great knowledge about the history, culture, and natural beauty of Bacalar. Her explanations made the experience even more interesting and memorable. We also thank Arturo, our driver, for his punctuality, kindness, and for making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire tour. The Lagoon of Seven Colors is simply stunning, and thanks to the great service from Jhoana and Arturo, we were able to enjoy it to the fullest. We booked our tour on our day in port, we were picked up just outside of the port and returned in time to board our ship. JHOANA was a great guide and she shared so much about this region in Mexico and we had a great time with plenty of time to relax and enjoy time in the water. Our transportation was was air conditioned and beverages were provided. We had a wonderful meal that was included in the price of our trip. I highly recommend booking this tour.

Jhoana was a terrific guide she made it through fine experience right at the court. She had our names printed on a poster, which set the right tone right from the start. She was very engaging and interesting and fun to be with telling us all kinds local interests and a little of her personal life which made us feel very comfortable and at ease. From start to finish, this was a top notch excursion. Thank you for making our day so special.

Lagoon was a lot prettier from far and yes the water was clear but nothing to look at when snorkeling. Seven color might be a stretch but it is definitely clear water. A tad bit cold this time around in January, fyi. Jhoana was a great host and tried her best to entertain and provide a fun experience. I just wished I knew that it takes more than a hour van ride to the water, and the riding through endless potholes wasn't fun at all.

We did this tour with my family in December and it became one of the highlights of our entire trip. Everything was smooth from pickup to drop-off. There was a small mix-up with our meeting point at the port, but the team answered immediately on WhatsApp and directed us within minutes, so it didn’t affect the experience at all. Our guide, Nacho, was outstanding. He mentioned he had lived in the U.S., and you can definitely tell, his English was absolutely perfect, which made everything so much easier for our family. He explained the history of Bacalar, answered every question with patience, and kept the whole experience fun, safe, and very professional. You could see he genuinely enjoys what he does. The lagoon itself is breathtaking, and the captain adjusted the route when the wind picked up a bit so we could still enjoy every stop comfortably. We had plenty of time to swim, relax, and take in the incredible colors. Overall, an amazing experience. Nacho truly elevated the tour, highly recommend!

Jhoanna met us exactly when and where she had previously explained. She had prearranged the entire excursion and we had virtually no wait at any point. Our drive to location was engaging and very informative. Jhoanna was very kind and extremely personable. She was full of energy, genuinely excited to meet us, and very knowledgeable as we toured mahuhal and the baccalar area. She even stopped at a local fresh fruit stand and prepared the fruit herself. Our tour was a bit rainy that day, but her attitude and demeanor brightened the mood of everyone in our group.

Nice place, driver, pattern and guide very friendly. Pineapple and drinks fantastic. Comfortable poor and very improveable.

The guide and the driver were both very nice. Unfortunately, what’s not known until one gets o the van is that it’s almost 1 1/2 hours each direction to a lake that is not the color as depicted in the photos. It’s about an hour in the water and then time for some really under quality tacos. Then back on the van for the 1 1/2 hour ride back. This trip is a PASS.

We were a group of 9. The cruise stop is very limiting due to our ships early departure from the area. Eco Experience México was beyond accommodating. They made sure we were pick up onetime and dropped off onetime. The catamaran ride around the Lagoon was very pleasant and the stops to swim were so much fun. Our group kept kosher so food was limiting for us. We were not expecting anything. Our guide Jhoana met us at the port and accompanied us the entire time. The company must have told her about our dietary constraints which she was unfamiliar with. Jhoana on her own time googled kosher food and went to the grocery store and purchased kosher snacks for us and also learned that fresh fruit was fine so she made sure we had fresh fruit on the Catamaran ride for our group to enjoy. This was a first class experience by the company and the guide. Very impressed and we would highly recommend them. Ask for Jhoana to be your guide!!!!
