BA: Expérience culinaire Premium Empanadas et Alfajores à Palerme

The experience was good. The food was good and the chef was great. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars (and considering lowering it to 2) is because at the end of the class they tell you that you can't take home what you prepared, which in theory is yours because you paid for it. You have to eat everything there, or throw it away. I had similar experiences, and you can always take home what you prepare.

Really fun experience! The empanadas and alfajores were great and we tasted some lovely wine as well. Valentin was a great instructor! Fun activity for a chilled day

There were only 4 people so it was very intimate which was good and the location was central and easy to find. I was hoping it would be more hands on but some of the ingredients had been pre-prepared but we still walked way with items we had made. Felt a bit rushed as we were told there was another event the guide had to do but we were well within the timings on the invite

Valentine was a very good teacher. They offer a fun experience where you learn to make empanadas and alfajores. The group also takes advantage of socializing and meeting people from various countries

My recent cooking class in Buenos Aires was a highlight of my trip! It was a warm intimate environment. Tomás was knowledgeable about Argentine cuisine and shared insights into the culture and history behind each dish. We learned to prepare traditional empanadas and alfajores cookies, and the hands-on experience was exactly what I was hoping for. Everything was perfectly organized, with fresh ingredients and clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and it was great to interact with fellow travelers who shared a passion for food. And the best part? Enjoying the delicious food we had prepared together at the end, paired with some excellent local wine. I left with a full stomach, new skills, and wonderful memories. If you're looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience in Buenos Aires, this cooking class is an absolute must-do!

Come hungry - you eat the fruits of your labor! It was fun. Don’t expect to open an Argentine restaurant after this class but come for the fun!

This was LOTS of fun. Good wine, food prep was easy and enjoyable. A great way to spend a few hours drinking wine, cooking and eating good food and making friends

My husband and I had a wonderful time and spent a lovely afternoon with Maria making empanadas and alfajores. She was very engaging, helpful, and immediately made us feel at ease. We have already talked about using our newly acquired “skills” at home, maybe even entertaining others.

This cooking class was everything one could look for when visiting Argentina and interested in a hands-on culinary experience. Our host Debora was an excellent chef and teacher. She spoke good English, was super fun, and shared cool stories of her cooking and more - a perfect host.

The venue was great. Chef and her supplies right in front of you. Catalina was so gracious and informative. The class was interactive and the empanada and dessert pastry delicious. Highly recommend as a great value.
