This was a fun way to spend an afternoon exploring Vancouver with friends. We started out pretty relaxed but the tension grew as the clock was ticking! The puzzles were challenging enough to keep us well occupied and had enough variety in style to ensure that all team members had something to contribute. We would definitely recommend this to other people. It's a must do.
Thank you so much for playing our Secret Mission outdoor game and taking the time to leave this wonderful review! :)
We had a great time saving Vancouver from a villainous spy group! It's fun way to see a bit of the city including places we didn't know existed. The tasks were laid out well and not so difficult that you couldn't complete it in the 2 hours. We'll definitely try their other games.
Thank you so much, we look forward to seeing you for more mysteries in the future!
Took at group of 12 year olds. The puzzles were challenging yet solvable. Just the right level of complexity. We visited lots of nice sites in downtown.
Thank you for this kind review, Secret Agent. Many older spies have struggled with this Secret Mission so your group of 12 year olds were very clever! Sincerely, Special Agent Bennett (owner)
It was a lot of fun. The clues were clever, and made you work. The distance covered was manageable and we learned about some of the historic buildings in downtown. When polling our group the highlight was discovering a small beautiful little park which none of us knew was there. Would we do it again? Absolutely!
Hi Penny, thank you for joining us on a Secret Mission! We love featuring bits of Vancouver history and trivia into the story of our games, and showing people some hidden gems too. We hope you'll join us for another mystery in the future!
We had such a great time doing the Secret Mission with Vancouver Mysteries. We were looking for a scavenger hunt and this was a bit like a scavenger hunt and a bit like an escape room. We did this in the evening on a weekend which was nice because the traffic was light and made it easy to wander around downtown. Even for a group of people who live in Vancouver, this opened our eyes to some things we hadn't noticed or things we didn't know. We were a competitive bunch but you should know that just because you make it back first doesn't guarantee your win - You must pay attention to the details! Agent Titus was great at playing along with our competitive nature. We'd love to do it again, perhaps even the family friendly version with our kids.
I love our city so much and love to hear that locals enjoy our games too. We hope you'll come back to play again. Thanks for supporting local business and for the review! -Tanya
This exciting game was just what we were looking for as a team building activity for our Grade 8s and 9s this year. The "detectives" that met us downtown were completely in character and our students were captivated by all the cool accessories for the game. The missions are well thought-out, clearly presented, and engaging for young teens. We would definitely do another Vancouver Mysteries field trip next year!
Hi there, Thank you so much for your kind review! We loved having your junior agents out in the field and we're so glad they were able to stop Blackout AND the Muck Monster! Hope to see you for another mission again next year! Best, Shelby Assistant Experience Manager
A great experience for a large group of overly-competitive friends. We loved discovering spots in the city we never knew existed. And our game commissioner was amazing and stuck to her character completely (also loved our perfect score and PNE tickets haha).
Hello Secret Agent! Thanks for your review and congratulations on your perfect score! We need that kind of brilliance in the agency - well done ;) Glad to hear you enjoyed your game and that you had fun with your Game Operator! Hope to see you for another mystery again soon! Best, Shelby Assistant Experience Manager
My colleagues and I had a great time last week playing the Secret Mission game, which we had all to ourselves as a large-ish group. The team sizes were capped at 5 players, making it easier to share tasks while staying quick. Our game leader, Agent Griffiths, was dedicated to playing her role and that really helped our less-playful teammates get into the theme! As one of the people organizing this event for my company, my original plan had been to find a sports venue with a bar. However, availability mid-summer was extremely low and the effort required to plan that sort of event was very high at a time when we're all quite busy. The Vancouver Mysteries game was easy for me to just book and let the pros handle its execution - my contact in their head office has been helpful at every turn. We were even able to have the game start right at our office and end near a pub! Overall, as a player and an organizer, I was very pleased and I'd do it again.
Hi Jil, Thank you so much for your kind words! We will be sure to pass them along to Special Agent Griffiths as well, who had a great time with your group! We're glad to hear you chose us out of a couple of options - we do our best to make it as easy for you as possible whether that's where you'd like to start your game or planning how to split up your teams. You've got to focus on saving the city, not on logistics of event planning! Plus - when the weather is as nice as it has been, it's a great way to get outside and enjoy the sunshine! We hope to see you for another mystery again soon :) Best, Shelby Shukaliak Assistant Experience Manager
We did this for a company meeting event with about 30 people, ages 23-70. People were grumbling a bit on the way to the starting location, but once the game was underway people got REALLY into it. Everyone had a blast. Absolutely perfect thing to do for a team-building event, especially when the teams were split into people who don't typically work together. Thanks so much for the amazing experience!! I definitely want to do this again :)
Hi Elizabeth, Thank you so much for your kind words! It's always great to hear when our games exceed expectations. Special Agent Colond had a great time with your group and she was thrilled to hear your team enjoyed it as much as they did! We hope to see you for another game soon! We did this as our work’s social event and it was a ton of fun! Well designed, whimsical “missions” that allowed every one of us to apply our own unique strengths! Absolutely recommend it! We had 6 teams of 4-5 people competing in this amazing race style. You don’t want to miss this!
Hi there, Thank you for your review! Every elite agency has a variety of strengths and it sounds like your squad was no exception ;) So glad to hear you enjoyed your mystery! Hope to see you for another game in the future! Best, Shelby Shukaliak Assistant Experience Manager
