Pilotez un 4x4 (Land Rover ou Toyota Hilux) sur des pistes à travers les terres sauvages de la Tierra del Fuego lors de cette excursion de 7 heures depuis Ushuaia. Admirez la vue formidable sur le lac caché (Lago Escondido) et le lac Fagnano - impressionnantes attractions naturelles dans le sud de la cordillère des Andes. Votre robuste 4x4 vous emmène à travers un superbe paysage de Patagonie, où vous pourrez profiter d'un barbecue au bord du lac accompagné de vin Malbec ! Profitez de toute l'attention de votre guide lors de cette visite en petit groupe, limitée à 12 personnes. En été, une excursion en canoë de 45 minutes est incluse sur le lac Fagnano.

Itinéraire
Dans la matinée, nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hôtel pour commencer notre excursion.
Nous allons emprunter la fameuse route 3 qui traverse une partie de la Cordillera Fueguina, ce qui nous permet d'accéder au Paso Garibaldi. De là, nous verrons Escondido et le lac Fagnano.
Nous entamerons la descente, quittant l'itinéraire conventionnel pour suivre les anciennes traces des bûcherons. Les camions 4x4 nous aideront dans cette expédition, atteignant des endroits où l'accès serait autrement impossible. Nous traverserons des forêts, suivrons des chemins de boue, de pierres et surmonterons différents défis sur notre chemin. Enfin, nous arriverons au lac Fagnano, qui nous surprendra par sa taille et l'incroyable paysage qui l'entoure. Là, nous ferons une halte à ce lac où nous dégusterons un délicieux asado local. Pendant que les guides préparent le déjeuner, nous pouvons faire une promenade dans la région pour explorer la forêt et les castors qui font aujourd'hui partie du paysage local. Après le déjeuner, nous poursuivrons cette aventure mais cette fois en empruntant un itinéraire pour nous rendre au lac Escondido.
Ce lac est plus petit que l'autre mais il nous surprendra tout de même par son environnement naturel unique. Si nous choisissons cette excursion pendant l'été, nous pouvons faire du canoë sur le lac Escondido. Nous aurons d'abord une conversation d'introduction avec nos guides, préparerons les canoës et enfin pagayerons autour du lac pendant 45 minutes. Nous profiterons du paysage de la région d'une manière différente. Mais si vous le choisissez en hiver, nous déjeunerons dans un abri d'hiver et pendant sa préparation, nous pourrons nous promener ou nous amuser sur la piste de luge. Après le déjeuner, nous visiterons le centre d'hiver Tierra Mayor, où nous aurons le temps d'explorer la région et de faire des activités supplémentaires telles que des motoneiges, des traîneaux husky, du ski ou du patin à glace. De plus, si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez séjourner dans la chaleureuse hosteria en contemplant l'incroyable vallée du Nevado.
Après avoir fait du canoë (en été) ou s'être amusé au centre d'hiver (en hiver), nous retournerons au point où les camionnettes ont été laissées pour retourner à Ushuaia le long de la route nationale 3.

Christian our guide and driver picked us up in a Toyota 4 x 4. We joined a lovely family from Argentina. Climbing into a 4 x 4 is not easy but Christian showed me how to do it. He was an excellent guide taking us through a very tough off road route filled with giant potholes and deep mud holes. Our first stop for a coffee break was just before we went bouncing down the trail toward Lake Escondido. We stopped there to walk a bit and enjoy the views. Back into the 4 x 4 we went and through the mountain pass. We stopped a small restaurant and then walked to a shelter where Christian was starting a fire for our lunch. Once the fire was going we let it to burn down to coals and drove to Lake Fagnano. It is a huge lake, very long and very deep. this day there were white caps as it was very windy. Then back for a lunch prepared by Christian. He made everything from scratch. Nothing was prepared ahead he did everything there. he would not allow us to help with anything, including clean-up. It was a wonderful day! This should not be missed!
Guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, prompt on the hotel pickup, eager to answer questions. Scenery and lunch were fantastic. The 4 wheel was absolutely necessary on the backroad portion of the tour. It was well worth the money and the time.
Nice off-road tour into the interior of Tierra del Fuego! It was cool to drive next to and into the edge of the big lake. Lunch was also terrific.
We took the tour with the Brasileiros agency in Ushuaia. It was very good, we loved the entire route, the attention of the guide (driver). Ideal for those who like a quiet adventure. It was worth the trip.
Viator booked with the worst rated company in Ushuaia to provide our tour. The tour included canoeing which we did not book and were not prepared for. We booked 4x4 with lunch by the lake, that is not what we received. We didn’t receive lunch - no food, no water, no options to leave the tour. We were abandoned on private property for over an hour with no cell service. The tour operator told us he hated Americans and then gave us the symbol for cutting your neck as the other 4x4 tried to hit us twice. The driver jumped out of the moving truck to make a “joke”, we were finally offered lunch at 4:00pm at a dog sledding place that was full of animal cruelty and like they were cooking the dogs for lunch. We declined and asked to be taken back to town. When I contacted Viator to ask for refund the request was rejected because the tour operator said they completed the “tour”.
Hello, Thank you for your comment. We are sorry this tour did not meet your expectations to the fullest. Per our recording, the tour was offered as scheduled. The canoes were included on the tour but of course, no one should take them if they don't want to. We will also get in contact with the guides for their inappropriate behavior. Regarding the dogs, their safeguarding is a top priority for us and they are more than well taken care of. Nonetheless, we hope you enjoyed the great landscapes and attractions that Ushuaia has to offer. We will try and improve this tour experience in the future. Best regards
Tour was nice and our driver/ guide was great. I didn’t give it a five star because the car has an odd design. There is no way to see the road ahead. The view is blocked. All you can see is from the side windows.
Well organized. We were picked up from our hotel. Our driver/ guide was David. Professional with excellent english. Trip worth every penny. Definitely better than spending day and money on national park, train and etc. on the way back stopped at husky park winter resort and had outstanding steak. Couldn’t ask for more.
We were picked up in a grizzly Toyota, we're two adults and my son. We shared the excursion with another childless couple and Hernan, the driver. We were picked up on time by the cabin, the van spotless. We started the tour with a walk in Ushuaia where Hernan told us part of the history of the island. We toured stunning places in a 4x4 that got into the water. Everything perfect, we stopped for breakfast in a place with an impeccable view, on the shores of the lake, stopped for coffee with bills we were given. We traveled hidden lake and swamp, complicated roads very well taken by the driver. We had a good lunch, the food was delicious but nothing otherworldly. Recommended lamb casserole. An excellent excursion, a very knowledgeable driver (Hernán), well prepared to explain and remove our doubts, a great. We returned very happy after a spectacular day.
Wonderful walk! It starts smoothly but becomes exciting with time! The ideal would be 5 passengers in the car and not 6 as they put it! The appetizers and the barbecue at the end are delicious!!!
very fun, and entertaining, the guides give it an incredible wave, we went with a family with an 11 year old boy and we all passed it 10. super recommended, complying with the schedule and the most valuable thing was the group of riders that apart from the super professional handling, make you spend a joyful, exciting and safe trip. I particularly think they're crazy, but they catch that crazy and it's the nice thing about the trip. The beautiful landscapes.
