Didn’t even get to go, they contacted me the night before at 7:20pm when I was supposed to be there for 9am cancelling because they forgot to remove Sundays off their schedule. I had booked this in march and this is in December now. You’d think almost a year is enough time to contact me so I could rearrange and still be able to do the excursion.
This was by far the worst experience of our entire trip in Turkey, and I strongly advise others NOT to book this tour. I travel the world - booking fun holiday trips for years but never have I experienced such a hostile aggressive environment as this quad tour in Belek! When we arrived by tour bus, the place looked more like a junkyard than a professional tour operator. The toilets were filthy — no toilet paper, no soap, and completely unhygienic. The whole property was dirty, with several dogs roaming around (one of them chained up and looking very unwell - I felt so sorry for him). It felt unsafe, especially for families with young children! I booked over Viatour asking if its ok to go on this quad tour with two 5 year olds which they confirmed is not a problem. Things went from bad to worse once the tour started. The staff were extremely rude and aggressive yelling and screaming at paying customers to go, go, move, get the helmet on and move out!!!. One of our friends, who doesn’t speak English well, was shouted at, pushed, and even grabbed and scratched roughly (picture below) as he placed himself and his little boy on the quad checking the breaks. I tought it will end in a fist fight — all while our friend had his 5-year-old boy on his lap. The yelling and hostility from the staff were shocking and completely unacceptable. I felt like I am in a hostage environment..... It honestly felt like being in a military bootcamp than on a holiday activity. We were also told that phones were strictly prohibited for “safety reasons,” but during a 10min break, when someone tried to take a simple picture on a stationary quad, the staff ran over and screamed at him. "You follow the rules now!!! NO Pictures!!!" It became clear that the real reason was not safety but to force guests to buy their overpriced photos later (The quad guides didnt wear any helmets by the way! ) We didnt buy any drinks or photos - not a single extra cent we spent on these people as this trip was ruined. During the 10 min quad break I felt like crying. During the tour, the guides continued to yell at everyone — shouting “move, move, go now!” and then suddenly yelling “too fast, stop now!” They themselves didn’t wear helmets (what a great example - sarcasm off) and behaved recklessly, showing off with stunts - riding the quad standing up with one leg and aggressively driving around the tourist group very fast and close up like some punks...almost like they wanted to scare / intimidate us. One poor participant was even forced to walk the last 200 meters back to the garage as “punishment” for going too fast. The whole 1hour and 15min route was in the forrest but littered with trash, plastic tarps and we even saw gun cartridges laying around in the forest... absolutely horrid! I’ve done many quad tours around the world, including in Phuket (Thailand) and Dubai, where the experience was safe, friendly, and fun. This one in Belek was the complete opposite — unprofessional, unsafe, and downright abusive. Save yourself the stress and dangerous / abusive environment — do not book this tour. No tourist should pay to be shouted at or treated this way on holiday.
This was a great experience and definitely do recommend this excursion. The quad bike excursion goes through a scenic forest area with steep slopes and splashes. The hosts seem to be fluent in a few languages and you can comfortably spealk to them in english. Overall a great experience with professionals in a family friendly environment.
Had a great morning quad biking. We were picked up from our hotel in Belek, taken to the quad bike safari and had an hour or something touring through the woods over uneven terrain, dusty tracks and muddy puddles. We were then dropped off back at our hotel. Easy and straight forward, the communication from booking was great. I would recommend wearing old footwear, or something easily cleaned as you do get muddy, but there is clothing covers and boat shoes that can be purchased at the quad bike safari.
A fun afternoon in the woods. All levels of experience are catered for. The staff were very helpful. Be prepared to get dirty 🤪
This was the worst day I have spent in turkey having been going to turkey for years. I was screamed at by multiple very angry men. I am a lone mother with three young children and I was given so much abuse by very aggressive men that had no respect for me or my children. The older man shouted at me multiple times for apparently been too fast however I was fourth in line and I was told to keep 3 metres apart from the person infront of me, I could literally only go as fast as the person at the front who was an employee of the company and the leader of the trail. The older man screamed in my face with my children left scared and upset. At the beginning of the excursion they told us to put our phones in lockers because we are not allowed to take our own photos or videos as they hve a photographer and if you wish to have photos of the trip they cost extra. I was annoyed at the hidden cost but accepted it and was wanting photos with my three children. I got my phone out to show the photographer how I wanted a photo done (me and my children on the quads together stationary) when I tried to approach the photographer he started screaming because I took my phone out and screaming that I was going to take my own photos. I tried explaining that I am happy for him to take the photos and I would pay but I want to show him what I want the photo to be like (I was willing to pay for his services just how I wanted them to be) I wanted them in this way as my oldest child was on a bike with a random man and all the photos taken was only of me and my younger children. I wanted a memory of all of us on the quads and included my oldest son. The two men made me feel so sad and miserable. I cried when I got back to my hotel after paying to be scream at. The woman on the experience was the only person listening and even apologised on my way back explaining she is only an employee, I am thankful the woman understood me. The men on this trip was very very abusive to a lone woman infront of my kids. They was two more family’s and a couple on the trip and every one was disgusted how I was treated and how aggressive the men was. Would not recommend to any one especially women. I would comment how ever a man on the trip had a child in hospital in England so answered a call from her on the break time we had and he was also screamed at for this
I went there on 28/10/24 all first it was planned for 12h then shift to 14h15 the start, arrived on site at 15h20, do not expect to do 3h of quad, we did only 55min of hiking including 20min of break between, wait to do you max 40min of hiking, the staff is unfriendly, we were the last two quad east to catch up with the group I accelerated faster and the monitor told me to slow down is not to do the crazy, I did nothing like, in short a horrible experience, once the course finished he comes to me to ask 10 € because we had consumed during the break... I advise you not to go there on 3h you have in all 2h of travel round trip then a small debrief then rolled in step. Shame!! AVOIDED!!
Good fun for a couple of hours and well looked after. The ride is around woods and interesting terrain. Everything is also provided
Good experience Nice you can do something like this close to where we stayed. Expect to get wet , muddy, and dusty Great fun for all the family, not too difficult or steep drops and you get the chance to purchase photos and videos afterwards
Super was very good..we liked it a lot..we'd love to do it again..everything was there..water.mud.dust.simply cool.............
