Kayaking was great. Our guide Westley was wonderful and knew where to go for a fabulous snorkeling experience. Beautiful beach stop. Food was delicious. Westley was super helpful with everything, including snorkeling and getting in and out of kayaks. He helped us spot wildlife too!!

My sister and I had a great time kayaking and snorkeling in Manuel Antonio. The weather was perfect, thankfully, since I probably would have struggled if the sea had been choppy. We saw several species of fish, starfish, and other sea life while snorkeling. I just wish I had a waterproof camera for pictures! The lunch at the end of the trip was also very nice!
Manuel Antonio on a perfect weather day — doesn’t get much better than that! So glad you and your sister had a great time out on the water. Those starfish and fish sightings are always a highlight — the underwater world there is something else. And yes, a waterproof camera is definitely on the must-bring list next time 😄 Happy the lunch rounded it all off nicely. Hope to see you both back!
So much fun! Raul was fantastic- a great guide and an overall cool guy. Quite an adventure! The water wasn’t clear enough that day to allow for total visibility while snorkeling, but kayaking offered probably the best views of my entire trip.

We did not do this tour because there was thunder and lightning and the water was incredible choppy and it was unsafe. The tour guide was nice and offered an alternative to “try” to kayak out and if we couldn’t continue because of the weather then we could drive to the snorkeling spot (over an hour drive). I had just driven in from San Jose and didn’t want to spend another 1-2 hours driving this was not the tour I booked. I asked if we could reschedule for another day. He said we’d have to talk to the office. The office never responded to my requests. So the tour operator pocketed $340 and we got nothing. I will not do business with Costa Rica Group Travel Company. I spent another week in Costa Rica and went on 3 tours with different companies that all provided stellar service. Don’t book this tour or with Costa Rica Group Travel Company

Raul was a wonderful guide- skilled knowledgeable, and so kind! There had been some heavy rains in the days leading up to our trip, so the water wasn’t clear enough for much snorkeling, but we still had a great time and Raul was able to get the fish to come to the surface of the water with some fish food he had brought along. We were able to meet up with one of their tour boats that was near the snorkeling area, and use their slide and jump off the upper deck! So fun! The small beach cove area, we visited, was such a neat little spot. We ate delicious fruit while relaxing in the water and our guide even discovered a sloth sleeping in a tree, right on the beach. We highly recommend this excursion and guide! FYI, The kayaking was strenuous the day we went. It took at least 35 minutes each way of consistent vigorous paddling, with an adult and teenager in each kayak.

The spot is absolutely gorgeous! Warm, turquoise waters surrounded by a lush coastline! Josue was just a joy and brought us to this stunning beach during our tour! Would absolutely recommend.

I traveled with a group of friends to Manuel Antonio, and we spent our day on this ocean kayaking and snorkeling tour. I thought this excursion was by far one of my favorite activities I’ve done in Costa Rica so far thanks to Josué, who kept the trip interesting and comedic with his punch lines. I was impressed by his professionalism and his thoughtfulness. We admire the hard work that Josué puts into giving his clients a good experience—thanks Josué! If you want a more detailed overview of what’s included: you’ll get to travel by kayak to the snorkeling area, observe the ocean life, kayak to the shore to eat pineapple, rinse off at the beach, kayak back, and enjoy lunch with your tour guide. Wow was I stunned with this tour! My 3 friends and I had an amazing time with our tour guide Alex. Tour was exactly as described, our guide even threw in a free drink and a ride on another tours boat slide! Alex was funny and kind and made sure to get lots of pictures of us and ensured we enjoyed our tour. After our tour the lunch that was provided was phenomenal at a local restaurant. We loved our tour so much we hung out with our guide even after it was over! He took us up to Playa Manuel Antonio Quepos beach, bought us some beers and showed us the beach there. Would 100% book again, thanks so much Alex, and pura vida!
