You will need water shoes to navigate the waterfalls. Towel and bathing suit We had fun! Our tour guide Jose was very attentive and really helped us throughout the trip; especially at the waterfalls. The beach was nice and lots of bars and restaurants .

Worse service ever, they cancel the trip without previous notification. I waited for almost an hour till I called them and found out it was cancelled.
"Hello Global29411560906, Thank you for your feedback. We regret to hear about your experience; however, we would like to clarify that we made several attempts to contact you via email regarding the changes to your tour. Unfortunately, the phone number provided was an international number without coverage, which made it difficult to reach you directly. Our records show that emails were sent a week prior to your scheduled tour, which may not have been reviewed in time. Despite these challenges, we took proactive steps to accommodate you with an alternative tour company to ensure you didn’t miss your planned experience. We always strive to provide the best service possible and appreciate your understanding. Wishing you all the best. Stay safe, Jomarie
Tour was very fun. Ride to the rainforest took about 45 min to an hour. Once we were there, it was a short but a bit challenging hike down to the natural water slides and pool. This area was cool but a bit touristy with all the other groups. After, we spent about 2 and a half hours at a little beach town which had different options to get food and drinks. Our guide Jose was nice and helpful throughout the tour

I really enjoyed this, but let's be clear -- this is not a tour of the Rainforest -- you go down a very steep, muddy path so that the organization can avoid paying the park entrance fee -- and it is a bit treacherous. Totally worth it go down the waterfall slide, though! The guide was very friendly, and very helpful in making sure no one got hurt. After the waterfall, you go to a pool area, which requires climbing over rocks. This is not an activity for people who are uncomfortable doing this sort of thing. The beach after was very nice - lots of lunch options - the ocean is warm and gorgeous. If you want to actually hike in the rainforest, you will probably have to hire a private guide, FYI.
Dear Seth_B, Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Full-Day El Yunque Rainforest and Luquillo Beach Tour. We’re glad to hear that you found the experience fun and that you enjoyed the waterfall slide and the beautiful beach afterward. We understand your concerns regarding the steep and muddy path. Our goal is to provide a unique adventure while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests. We appreciate your honest feedback and will continue to emphasize safety measures and clear communication about the tour's physical requirements. We're happy to hear that our guide was helpful in making sure everyone felt safe throughout the experience. Your insights about the rainforest experience are valuable, and we always encourage guests to carefully review tour details to ensure they match their expectations. For those seeking a more traditional hiking experience in El Yunque, we agree that a private guide may be the best option. Thanks again for your review and for highlighting the aspects you enjoyed. We hope to welcome you back on another adventure in the future! Best regards, Jomarie i tour Puerto Rico
The El Yunque Rainforest was amazing and was our second time visiting. The weather was perfect and our group was very supportive. Our tour guide Jose Baez was very rude and unsupportive. He did not wait for the entire group to get through the unsafe path down into the forest. He left half of us to fend for ourselves. He was not considerate enough to take the safer path that would accommodate all parties in our group. He even started yelling at some of us because we did appreciate it guidance.
Dear Shani_F, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent tour with us. I am truly sorry to hear that your experience with our guide, Jose Baez, did not meet your expectations. Ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests is our top priority, and I regret that this was not your experience. I deeply apologize for any behavior that came across as rude or unsupportive. Your comments regarding the unsafe path and lack of group cohesion are very concerning, and I will personally address this with Jose to ensure such situations are avoided in the future. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our services and ensure all of our guests feel cared for and supported throughout their journey. If you would like to discuss this further or share more details, please don't hesitate to reach out directly. I sincerely hope we can make this right and provide you with a better experience on your next visit to Puerto Rico. Warm regards, Jomarie I Tour Puerto Rico
This trip is not what is advertised There is no experience of a rain forest or seeing wildlife . False advertising It is being taken down a trial to a water hole This trail ( it’s like something from the black market) is through rock, muck, tree roots and a lot of litter . I saw two used syringes with needles attached and a machete . Yes I’m being totally serious !!!!. Our guide didn't get off to. A Good start as when he pick us up at our hotel he left the van running and it ran on a few meters . The mini bus was awful. Most of the seat belts didn’t work. Yes Jose gave us the history of Puerto Rico .. very interesting but he failed to show any understanding of another guest who was really struggling with the climb and the awful slippiness from the muck . She fell on a number of occasions and he was extremely sharp with her . Lacking patience He refused to let any of us help her even though she was breathless with her asthma. It was totally humiliating for her . The beach which was sold as a beautiful beach was average. Quite dirty and restaurants were totally over priced I do not recommend this trip at all
🌴 Thank you, Alison_B, for taking the time to share your feedback. 🌴 We deeply regret that your experience on the Full-Day El Yunque Rainforest and Luquillo Beach Tour did not meet your expectations. Providing a safe, enjoyable, and authentic adventure is our highest priority, and we are disheartened to hear about the issues you encountered. Unfortunately, litter at the rainforest and beach can sometimes be a challenge. We do our best to maintain these beautiful areas, but some visitors are not always mindful of taking everything they bring back with them. We strongly advocate for “leave no trace” principles to preserve the natural beauty for everyone. To clarify, Puerto Rico’s wildlife is not exotic in the way some might expect. You may spot creatures like garden snakes, lizards, and beautiful birds, but no large or exotic animals. Descriptions mentioning “wildlife” are often created by Viator as part of their tour promotions, which can sometimes lead to confusion. We appreciate your understanding and will work on clarifying expectations moving forward. Additionally, the use of machetes in the rainforest is standard practice for clearing trails and ensuring a safe path for all visitors—it’s not unusual to see them during hikes in this environment. Your feedback about the guide’s behavior, trail conditions, and overall experience is being taken very seriously. We sincerely apologize for any discomfort or frustration caused, and we will work diligently to address these concerns and improve for future guests. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts—they’re invaluable in helping us deliver better experiences. Warm regards, Jomarie i tour Puerto Rico
Had a wonderful time! The activity itself was so much fun! Jose my tour guide was absolutely amazing! He kept us entertained and informed on the bus ride. Made it his business to remember all of our names. He was a pleasure to spend the day with and would definitely recommend this trip and him anytime.

There’s so much more to explore and enjoy! 🌺🌞 Warm regards, Jomarie i tour Puerto Rico
Will recomend the place not the tour as we where picked up late(not a problem)but booked spanish speaker guide, after we and another group mention this a few times and considering everybody on the bus spoke spanish he still refuse to change. He was very unhelpfull bordering rude and never stopped talking
Dear Gloria_V, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on the Full-Day El Yunque Rainforest and Luquillo Beach Tour. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the destination, but we’re genuinely sorry to learn that the tour guide did not meet your expectations. We strive to accommodate language preferences, and it’s disappointing to hear that this wasn’t respected despite the group’s requests. Additionally, we apologize if the guide’s demeanor came across as unhelpful or discourteous – that is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’ll address these concerns with the guide and our team to ensure a more respectful and enjoyable experience for all guests in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to welcome you back for a better experience. Warm regards, Jomarie
Absolutely amazing time. José, our guide, was the best. He made sure everyone was safe and having a good time. We had so much fun! José was very informative and attentive. The rainforest was beautiful and serene, and the beach was nice and warm. 10/10 would do it again!
Thank you for sharing such a glowing review, Jordan! We’re thrilled to hear you had a fantastic experience on the tour, and we’re especially glad to know that José took such great care of you and made the day memorable. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon! Best regards, Jomarie I Tour Puerto Rico
They sell this as a "hike in the rainforest". But the hike is literally 3 minutes. It's just to get to the location where you can do waterslides and swimming and that's it. You're not really seeing El Yunque. And then they drop you at Luquillo beach where apparently you need to "get drunk" and enjoy. But the beach is polluted and everything is super expensive. This tour was definitely a waste of money. If you want to see the rainforest or beaches around the island, renting a car and going yourself is the better option.
Thank you, Francine, for your feedback. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience 🌿😊. We want to clarify that, as described in the tour details, this is not a hiking-focused tour. The visit to El Yunque is centered around the natural water slide area, which is a unique and fun way to experience the rainforest 🛝💦. We understand that if you're looking to explore more areas of El Yunque, it would take several days to fully appreciate its beauty, as the park is vast and diverse 🌳✨. Regarding the beach, we’re sorry for any disappointment. Unfortunately, during high season, Luquillo Beach can get crowded with tourists, and some may not respect the environment 🌊💔. We love our island and always encourage visitors to help keep it clean and beautiful 🌎💙. Your insights are valuable, and we’ll continue to work on improving our tour experience. Thank you again for your feedback! 😊🙏
