Freddy was a great guide, he was very knowledgeable in Fijian history and culture, pointing out plants and their traditional uses on the way. Freddy was also very friendly and funny and had a number of informative stories and anecdotes which gave us an insight into the Fijian way of life without being too long-winded. The drive to the start is an adventure on it's own with lots of sights to see. The walk itself was rough but easily walked in sneakers, great views and an opportunity to take a dip in the pool under the waterfall Highly recommend this as an alternative to the usual beach trips to see a different side of Fiji and contribute to the local community.

Absolutely incredible experience. The guides picked us up from our Airbnb and drove us to the start of the hike. On the drive to the hike, the guides were teaching us about the area and some of Fiji's history. The view from the top was amazing and they even provided us with snacks and water. I highly recommend doing a hike with this company during your time in Fiji.

This hike was such a wonderful experience. Everything ran smoothly from the start, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the day. The scenery was beautiful — every turn seemed to offer something new to admire. What really stood out were the little touches, snacks provided along the way, interesting bits of history, and the great company that made the whole trip feel special. It wasn’t just about the hike itself, but the way it all came together. I left feeling refreshed, connected, and grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable adventure.
The trail we were signed up for was closed, but the replacement trail was very nice but shorter. The waterfall pool was lovely. Our guide Freddy was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He looked out for us and made sure that we had a memorable experience.
Fiji has many gems like unspoiled beaches, clear waters to view colorful coral and fish when snorkeling/diving and wonderful friendly people but it also has beautiful mountain forests. Our guide, Ice shared a hidden gem of a hiking trail with spectacle views. He was very knowledgeable and personable. Hiking was at a good pace and he adjusted quickly when we wanted to spend time searching for birds while in our hike. We highly recommend Ice for your guide!
This hike was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything about the experience was unforgettable. The views were breathtaking, every turn felt like a new postcard scene. The hospitality of the people we met along the way made the journey even more special, so warm, kind, and welcoming. In general, the entire experience was beyond amazing, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for both adventure and beauty.
I am so grateful for this hiking experience with Ray and the village guide. I wanted to hike Mt. Tomanivi, but it was impractical because I stayed on the Coral Coast with a non-hiking family. I contacted Ray, and he set up a perfect day hike into the interior of Fiji. The drive was spectacular. I was nervous about eating Fijian food or drinking Kava, but wanting to be respectful. Ray removed that from his hikes because, apparently, I am not the only one with a very limited palate- burgers and pizza. He instead picked up some great commercially packaged protein bars that I enjoyed from the grocery store. Once we arrived, I was introduced to Ishra. A village owns the land we hiked on, and he is the village warrior. As a search-and-rescue volunteer, I appreciated that Ray was prepared with an ample First Aid Kit. Fortunately, we didn't have to use it. He shared a lot of information about the area, and it was beautiful. Ray is always exploring new areas to take his clients to, so you know you will have great places to visit with breathtaking views and be safe under his guidance.

Chose this tour as we wanted to see something of the ‘real’ Fiji and it didn’t disappoint. Our guides Ray and Peter were great. The walk was amazing and even the hour’s drive to get there was worth the rough unsealed roads. Getting an insight into Village life was an added bonus of the trip and watching the kids at the local school enjoy their sports day was an other colourful addition. The hike was very doable for anyone with moderate fitness and showcased the true Fijian countryside Definitely recommend to anyone who loves the outdoors and walking and wants to get away the the tourist areas
